This anomaly is detected by the Descendancy, a species from the merged Andromeda and Milky Way galaxies, who travel back in time to offer their advanced technological aid to heal Belle in exchange for assistance against the Ascendancy, a formidable faction threatening the galaxy's fragile peace.As the political tensions escalate, Minardi, haunted by his wife's altered state between life and death, finds new hope as Belle's condition begins to stabilize thanks to the Descendancy's intervention.
