Dane Mainella

A photographic essay on the diverse outskirts of New York City. Photographer Dane Mainella went to the last stop of every NYC subway line to document the surrounding neighborhood. The resulting slivers of the city's outline-taken between the years 2015 and 2017-string together Mainella's quiet but determined vision of stark, yet strangely elating, 21st century American decay.

DRIVING is a collection of poems by Dane Mainella, written during the summer of 2013. The book is split into four sections based on the city where each poem was written: Providence, Philadelphia, Tunkhannock, and Claryville.
