The Little White Bird introduces the character of Peter Pan, a free spirited and mischievous young boy who can fly and never grows up. Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens - Peter is a seven-day-old infant who, ""like all infants"", used to be part bird. Peter has complete faith in his flying abilities, and he manages to escape out of the window of his London home and return to Kensington Gardens. Upon returning to the Gardens, Peter is shocked to learn from the crow Solomon Caw that he is not still a bird, but more like a human. Peter and Wendy - Peter Pan is the leader of the Lost Boys on the island of Neverland that is inhabited by mermaids, fairies, Native Americans and pirates. He takes Wendy Darling and her two brothers to their magic world and they have many adventures with Peter, his fairy Tinker Bell, the Lost Boys, and the pirate Captain Hook. Peter Pan, or The Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up is a fairy play about a mischievous yet innocent little boy who can fly, and has many adventures on the island of Neverland with Wendy Darling and her two brothers. When Wendy Grew Up - Peter returns for Wendy years later. But she is now grown up with a daughter of her own named Jane. When Peter learns that Wendy has ""betrayed"" him by growing up, he is heartbroken until Jane agrees to come to Neverland as Peter's new mother. The Story of Peter Pan is a retelling of the Peter Pan story by Daniel O'Connor. The Peter Pan Alphabet by Oliver Herford contains Peter Pan themed rhymes for each letter of the alphabet. Sir James Matthew Barrie (1860-1937) was a Scottish novelist and playwright, best remembered today as the creator of Peter Pan.

It come out of nowhere - said the woman who found Michael, knocked into a coma by a rogue golf ball.He can remember nothing of the life he wakes up to. Not the job in insurance in an office by the motorway. Not the commuter-belt home in the kind of place the government wants you to live. Not the kids, who seem to steal bits of his face and wear them better. Not the wife, who lies silent in bed beside him.And there is something he can tell no one: that he can imagine things out of existence. That he only has to imagine a brick and it vanishes, that he only has to picture the catastrophes threatening his children and they are safe - nothing will happen to them.As Michael's hold on reality loosens, his sense of self and the world around him starts to fray at the edges - teetering on the brink of nothingness.Nothing by Daniel O'Connor is a dark, unnerving domestic drama and an exuberant, often extremely funny depiction of the absurdity of contemporary suburban life. It is a novel about uncertainty, anxiety and parental paranoia, but it is also an irreverent, mischievous book, propelled by the daring inventiveness of its language.

What if I told you that the world is on the cusp of such a radical transformation that all the anxieties which now crowd your mind are about to die away like the jabbering of monkeys upon the entrance of a roaring lion--that all which now worries and depresses you is about to melt away like a dream upon the blessed intrusion of a new reality you hitherto scarcely could have comprehended? The Era is coming. Nothing and no one can stop it. But it is coming like a freight train, and you do not want to be on the wrong side of its arrival. This short book has been written to put you on the right side. Within its pages, you will learn: Details on what this Era will be like. Teachings of the Fathers of the Church on it. Teachings of the Popes on it (Pope Francis, Pope St. John Paul II, Pope St. Pius X, and others) What the most trustworthy prophecies of the modern age have to say about it (Fatima, Divine Mercy, Blessed Conchita, In Sinu Jesu, and many others you have likely never heard of before). Most importantly, you will learn what Jesus revealed about it to a certain woman by the name of Luisa Piccarreta: what its essence is, how you can live its essence here and now through the Gift of Living in the Divine Will, and how you can--with this Gift--hasten the Era's arrival. You will learn how the whole history of the world has been carefully orchestrated by God Himself, leading up to the very moment in which we now live: the moment in which history is ready to receive its crown. You will learn how very pivotal your role is in this Greatest Story Ever Told which is now reaching its fulfillment before our eyes. Have you ever wondered what the meaning of life is? Have you ever checked the news and found yourself asking what this world is coming to? Have you ever sought to discover your life's mission and calling? Have you ever been distressed that God, though all good and all powerful, allows evil to occur, and asked Him why this is so? Have you ever desired to save the world? Have you ever tried to understand the meaning of history itself? Or, are you simply wondering how all the enigmas above could possibly have a single hitherto unknown solution that could be relayed within the pages of this small book? Then read this book. "The whole world is upside down, and everyone is awaiting changes, peace, new things. ... peoples are impoverished, are stripped alive, and while they are waiting, tired of the sad present era, dark and bloody, which enwraps them, they wait and hope for a new era of peace and of light. The world is exactly at the same point as when I was about to come upon earth. All were awaiting a great event, a new era, as indeed occurred. The same now; since the great event, the new era in which the Will of God may be done on earth as It is in Heaven, is coming--everyone is awaiting this new era, tired of the present one, but without knowing what this new thing, this change is about, just as they did not know it when I came upon earth. This expectation is a sure sign that the hour is near." - 20th Century Revelations of Jesus

"This is a very visual novel and the attention to detail is so rich that I could smell the dirty water dogs from the NYC street vendors. Bravo " Romeo Tirone, Director of True Blood, Dexter, and Red Widow "Daniel O'Connor's Sons of the Pope reveals an interesting new talent with a snappy style. This is someone's career to watch." Andrew Neiderman, Author of The Devil's Advocate and several V.C. Andrews novels "A rich, epic chronicle of murder, the mob, and miracles..." Kevin O'Brien, NY Times Bestselling Author In Brooklyn, before the murders, before the miracle, before the 1940s were gone forever, there was a tree... If only they let that tree alone. If that sycamore tree had been allowed to stand, then maybe Biaggio Falcone never would have been the head of the Campigotto crime family, and perhaps little Joey Salerno would not have been born like that. Joey's father, Sal-just home from World War II-probably would never have gotten involved with the New York underworld, and his wife Mary wouldn't have spent her entire life caring for an eternal child. There may have been no reason, four decades later, for that desperate pilgrimage to Lourdes, France. And no need for anyone to call upon the one known only as The Diabolist. Experience the richness of a story that spans half a century. Love andhatred. Devotion and betrayal. Murder and miracles. If only they let that tree alone

The East India Company's merchants were called Adventurers because they ventured their money in the risky markets of the Spice Islands and the fabulously wealthy Mughal Empire. In another sense also, the Company's entire 250 years were an adventure, exciting and dangerous, and creating over time, by violence and corruption, an empire. Contrary to the common view, the Company always claimed a Christian identity, hence the chaplains, on their voyages and in their trading 'factories' and garrisons, to guard the morals and morale of their operations. This the chaplains did with varying conviction and success. Forbear of the multinational of today, the Company continues to fascinate, attracting a vast amount of study worldwide as an economic and political phenomenon, an instrument of development, patron of art, and locus of attention in the new-imperial and postcolonial literature. Virtually unnoticed hitherto alongside the seafarers, merchant-adventurers, soldiers and imperialists, and their Indian collaborators, was a succession of educated, mostly young men with a tricky assignment and a distinct angle on all that took place: the chaplains.

Rather than focusing on the abstract and individualizing character of cinema, Mediated Associations elucidates the collective character of cinematic objects. O'Connor argues that social theory must come to terms with the new mobilities and speed of cinema, and the various ways in which the affect - as a virtual moment of collective experience - is inserted into the flow of movement and structures cinematic events. In considering the primacy of the affect to cinematic forms of power, he examines the way in which cinema controls our associations, reconstituting our manners and habits of sociality and sociability in subtle and complex ways.
