Richter's colorful, epic paintings in dialogue with 17th-century works at a Venetian palazzo Published for a unique exhibition at the historic Venetian palazzo Scuola Grande di San Fantin, this clothbound catalog showcases large-scale oil paintings by German artist Daniel Richter (born 1962). Installation shots display the unique display of Richter's intensely colorful paintings, interwoven with the palazzo's 17th-century works. The combination highlights the punk ethos of the artist in full force. Richter studied with German modernist painter Werner B ttner at the Hochschule f r bildende K nste in Hamburg until 1994. Since then, his work has moved through several phases. His early paintings challenged the abstract canon of German postwar painting with an exuberant, psychedelic formal language. No less radical are Richter's monumental paintings begun after 2000, through which he used painterly allegories to subvert figurative history painting.

Self-Sovereign Identity ist ein in der Entwicklung befindliches Paradigma für digitale Interaktionen. Daniel Richter analysiert die Auswirkungen der Anwendung neuartiger Ansätze dieses Paradigmas auf reale Geschäftsszenarien am Beispiel von kommerziellen Ladeprozessen von Elektrofahrzeugen. Unter Verwendung der Methode Service Design for Business Process Reengineering wird ein Konzept für eine E-Roaming-Dienstleistung erstellt. Dieses beruht auf den für Self-Sovereign Identity zentralen Standards Verifiable Credentials und Decentralized Identifiers. Anhand dieses Konzepts wird gezeigt, dass Registrierungs- und Authentifizierungsprozesse durch die Anwendung von Self-Sovereign-Identity-Ansätzen verändert werden. Dabei hängt eine verbesserte Kundenerfahrung maßgeblich vom Maß der Integration von Wallet-Software in die jeweiligen Dienstleistungsprozesse ab. Ferner ergeben sich Veränderungen in der Aufgabenverteilung der an der Dienstleistung beteiligten Akteure. Anhand der Analyse eines realen Geschäftsszenarios werden offene Punkte in der Entwicklung von Self-Sovereign Identity hervorgehoben. Dazu gehört insbesondere die Standardisierung von Datenschemata, welche für die Interoperabilität der neuartigen Ansätze unerlässlich ist.

Owing to their achievements as radical and unique innovators of the painting tradition, Jonathan Meese (* 1970 in Tokyo), Daniel Richter (* 1962 in Eutin, Germany), and Tal R (* 1967 in Tel Aviv) have won international recognition over the last decades. In their work, the three artists refer to established ways of seeing, while at the same time distorting, expanding, or challenging them. The humorous aspect of their art always opens the door for contemporary topics, ranging from politics, society, and self-presentation, to questions about the general significance of painting. For the exhibition Bavid Dowie, Jonathan Meese, Daniel Richter, and Tal R have teamed up for the first time, in order to work and exhibit their art together. This catalogue presents the works the artists developed jointly, as well as new pieces that were created individually. It thus not only provides a glimpse into this one-of-a-kind collaboration, but gives a good insight into where each one of the three outstanding artists stands at present. Text in English and German.
