There are tons of jobs. I hadn't had a ton of success in Hollywood as an actor when I showed up there in 2006, but since then, I am fortunate to have appeared in dozens of national commercials, TV shows and movies. It is a peaceful society. Violence is rare, even in the largest cities like Beijing (23 million). Life in China just feels easier overall than in the States. There are a lot of people not just in America but many Western countries that are not satisfied, working paycheck to paycheck, trying to support their families. They're just not that happy.
