Sebbene siano state impiegate molte strategie per ridurre il disimpegno e incentivare i giovani, queste sono spesso attuate con successo variabile. Questo libro, quindi, esplora i percorsi di dieci ragazze tra i 14 e i 16 anni, identificate dalle loro scuole come disaffezionate e a rischio di esclusione, al fine di chiarire le loro preoccupazioni.
