Vi har alle tre tabt vores hjerter til Østerbro. Selvfølgelig er det altid sådan med kærlighed, at vi godt kan se, der måske er mere fest andre steder i København. Men for os, der alle tre bor, spiser og handler på Østerbro, er Østerbro det bedste sted og der, hvor vi helst vil være i det daglige. Ydermere er det også her David arbejder – hvilket vi andre nyder godt af, når vi spiser hos ham i hans restaurant. Det er her, vores børn vokser eller er vokset op og går i skole. Det er her vi kender mange af de små gode handlende, som vi får en sludder med, hver gang vi kommer der. Østerbro er som en lille by i byen, og de seneste 20 år er der kommet ganske mange skønne spisesteder og fødevarebutikker, som er med til at gøre, at vi stadig elsker Østerbro. David har drevet sit navnkundige pastaværtshus siden 2007, og her er både Flemming og Helle kommet med familie og venner lige siden den første dag. For os alle tre betyder maden, måltidet og de gode råvarer noget grundlæggende og meget centralt i vores liv. Vi skaber mad, serverer mad, underviser i mad og fotograferer mad. Det er gennem maden, at vi fortæller vores historie, og til det er Østerbro den allerbedste ramme, fordi her er så mange madmuligheder, som vi gerne vil dele med jer.
