O presente documento tem como objetivo explorar o panorama dos servi os offshore em Banguecoque e a sua adequa o como local para servi os offshore em geral. Esta investiga o destina-se a estudantes, investigadores e empresas interessadas na Tail ndia como local de presta o de servi os offshore. A globaliza o proporcionou uma oportunidade para os pa ses em desenvolvimento beneficiarem de uma nova divis o internacional do trabalho, e h pouca investiga o existente para avaliar at que ponto as empresas est o a escolher a Tail ndia como um local vi vel para a produ o de servi os offshore. Foram recolhidos dados sobre empresas de servi os offshore e realizadas entrevistas com especialistas do sector, acad micos e funcion rios p blicos em Banguecoque, na Tail ndia e na Europa, durante um per odo de seis semanas a partir de janeiro de 2014. Os resultados sugerem que o panorama dos servi os offshore da Tail ndia constitu do principalmente por servi os menos avan ados de externaliza o de processos empresariais (BPO), mas com uma presen a substancial de servi os mais avan ados de externaliza o de tecnologias da informa o (ITO) e de externaliza o de processos de conhecimento (KPO). A aptid o da Tail ndia para a presta o de servi os offshore foi contestada, tendo muitos participantes apresentado um progn stico negativo.

Il presente documento si propone di esplorare il panorama dei servizi offshore di Bangkok e la sua idoneit come sede di servizi offshore in generale. La ricerca rivolta a studenti, ricercatori e imprese interessati alla Thailandia come sede di servizi offshore. La globalizzazione ha offerto ai Paesi in via di sviluppo l'opportunit di beneficiare di una nuova divisione internazionale del lavoro, e le ricerche esistenti sono poche per valutare in che misura le imprese scelgano la Thailandia come sede valida per la produzione di servizi offshore. Sono stati raccolti dati sulle imprese di servizi offshore e sono state condotte interviste con esperti del settore, accademici e dipendenti pubblici a Bangkok, in Thailandia, e in Europa per un periodo di sei settimane a partire da gennaio 2014. I risultati suggeriscono che il panorama dei servizi offshore in Thailandia costituito principalmente da Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) meno avanzato, ma con una presenza sostanziale di Information Technology Outsourcing (ITO) e Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO) pi avanzati. In diesem Papier soll die Offshore-Dienstleistungslandschaft Bangkoks und ihre Eignung als Standort f r Offshore-Dienstleistungen im Allgemeinen untersucht werden. Diese Studie richtet sich an Studierende, Forscher und Unternehmen, die sich f r Thailand als Standort f r Offshore-Dienstleistungen interessieren. Die Globalisierung hat Entwicklungsl ndern die M glichkeit er ffnet, von einer neuen internationalen Arbeitsteilung zu profitieren, und es gibt nur wenige Forschungsarbeiten, die Aufschluss dar ber geben, inwieweit Unternehmen Thailand als geeigneten Standort f r die Produktion von Offshore-Dienstleistungen w hlen. ber einen Zeitraum von sechs Wochen ab Januar 2014 wurden Daten ber Offshore-Dienstleistungsunternehmen gesammelt und Interviews mit Experten aus diesem Sektor, Akademikern und Regierungsmitarbeitern in Bangkok, Thailand und in Europa gef hrt. Die Ergebnisse deuten darauf hin, dass die Offshore-Dienstleistungslandschaft Thailands haupts chlich aus weniger fortgeschrittenem Gesch ftsprozess-Outsourcing (BPO) besteht, aber auch aus einem erheblichen Anteil an fortgeschrittenerem Informationstechnologie-Outsourcing (ITO) und Wissensprozess-Outsourcing (KPO). One of the most underrated players in baseball history, Bill Virdon went on to successfully manage four Major League teams. Rookie of the Year with the 1955 St. Louis Cardinals, he played center field for 10 seasons with the Pittsburgh Pirates, next to right fielder Roberto Clemente. Virdon's key plays clinched the Pirates' victory over the New York Yankees in the 1960 World Series.
