A year has passed since Lord Kratt disappeared. The valley, although severely damaged in the fire, is recovering. The mytre of the valley are united as one clan and a new social order with shared leadership has been established. Cordelia meets a new mytre, Barry who is welcomed into the valley and the valley returns to a place of peace and harmony.But the peace is short-lived as Cordelia senses something evil is coming - again. Three catastrophic events threaten the new clan of the valley.
