At a time when the whole of humanity is engaged in the fight for the respect, defence, protection and promotion of human rights, it is absurd, even inhumane, to stigmatise a category of people, disregarding their fundamental rights, simply because they have difficulty moving around or communicating because they have a disability, for example. This study is based on the idea that people living with disabilities face barriers that limit their ability to function in society, and that married women living with disabilities face a twofold limitation to their ability to function, in that, given their status as married women, the DRC Family Code limits their ability to function and, given their disability, they deserve special protection. Thus, the realities on the ground demonstrate that People Living with Disabilities are not protected and we have observed a lack of mechanisms aimed at protecting People Living with Disabilities in general and Married Women Living with Disabilities in particular.

Numa altura em que toda a humanidade est empenhada na luta pelo respeito, defesa, prote o e promo o dos direitos humanos, absurdo, ou mesmo desumano, estigmatizar uma categoria de pessoas, desrespeitando os seus direitos fundamentais, simplesmente porque t m dificuldade em deslocar-se ou em comunicar, por exemplo, porque t m uma defici ncia. Este estudo baseia-se na ideia de que as pessoas com defici ncia enfrentam barreiras que limitam a sua capacidade de funcionar na sociedade, e que as mulheres casadas com defici ncia enfrentam uma dupla limita o sua capacidade de funcionar, na medida em que, dado o seu estatuto de mulheres casadas, o C digo da Fam lia da RDC limita a sua capacidade de funcionar e, dada a sua defici ncia, merecem prote o especial. Assim, as realidades no terreno demonstram que as Pessoas com Defici ncia n o s o protegidas e observ mos uma falta de mecanismos destinados a proteger as Pessoas com Defici ncia em geral e as Mulheres Casadas com Defici ncia em particular.

Questo studio si basa sull'idea che le persone che vivono con disabilit affrontano barriere che limitano la loro capacit di funzionare nella societ e che le donne sposate che vivono con disabilit affrontano una duplice limitazione alla loro capacit di funzionare, in quanto, dato il loro status di donne sposate, il Codice di famiglia della RDC limita la loro capacit di funzionare e, data la loro disabilit , meritano una protezione speciale. Le realt sul campo dimostrano quindi che le persone con disabilit non sono protette e abbiamo osservato una mancanza di meccanismi volti a proteggere le persone con disabilit in generale e le donne sposate con disabilit in particolare.

In einer Zeit, in der sich die gesamte Menschheit f r die Achtung, die Verteidigung, den Schutz und die F rderung der Menschenrechte einsetzt, ist es abwegig und unmenschlich, eine Gruppe von Menschen zu stigmatisieren und ihre Grundrechte zu missachten, nur weil sie Schwierigkeiten haben, sich zu bewegen oder zu kommunizieren, weil sie beispielsweise mit einer Behinderung leben. Diese Studie geht von der Idee aus, dass Menschen, die mit einer Behinderung leben, auf Barrieren sto en, die ihre M glichkeiten in der Gesellschaft einschr nken, und dass verheiratete Frauen, die mit einer Behinderung leben, eine doppelte Einschr nkung ihrer M glichkeiten erfahren, da das Familiengesetzbuch der DR Kongo aufgrund ihres Status als verheiratete Frau ihre M glichkeiten einschr nkt und sie aufgrund ihrer Behinderung einen besonderen Schutz verdienen. Die Realit t vor Ort zeigt, dass Menschen, die mit Behinderungen leben, nicht gesch tzt sind und wir haben festgestellt, dass die Mechanismen zum Schutz von Menschen, die mit Behinderungen leben, im Allgemeinen und von verheirateten Frauen, die mit Behinderungen leben, im Besonderen unzureichend sind.
