Divine Promises is a book collection of verses followed by mini-sermons, poetry, and proclamations. It is a book for daily devotional study as well as for prayer. It will bring the reader closer to God in a way they might not have experienced. There are pages for note taking and what I call "pen-pondering." Divine Promises is a book designed to help the reader have more faith, more trust -- knowing that God's promises are always fulfilled.

God's word contains the finest poetry ever revealed. Within the Bible, His story unfolds with dignity, truth, and love. Through His passion, He gave us His son who became the most incredible shepherd of our Father's living word ever to be born. Jesus remains the greatest teacher of all time. And, according to witnesses, he makes elegant, fine wine. A humble book, Poetry of God, produces an opportunity for readers to enjoy scripture, haiku poetry, and compact sermons. Each page presents God's poetry followed by a haiku and, lastly, a mini-sermon for contemplation. It is my deepest hope that this book encourages readers to ponder God, and to learn more about His word - His desire for us to have happy, joyful, and loving lives, "on Earth as it is with Him."

Haiku, the Interior and Exterior of Being, is a book of imagination; yet, it is poetry of truth. Nature, her ways, and her secrets are revealed one poem at a time, one breath at a time, unfolding the smaller picture within the larger one - and, vice-versa. Between lines, between breaths, you will journey to the center of a poet's dream-room.

With his voice ringing out I hear Grandmaster Suh saying, "This guy, are you training hard?" And without regard to my answer, he would always respond, "Train harder." This was the way it was: this was signature Mr. Suh. He was a Master of few words. I remember asking him, "Why do we punch with a bent elbow?" His response was a swift punch to my chest that left me on the floor about 8 feet away from him. His martial art lessons were different, though. He became open and would spend a great deal of time teaching life philosophy. He savored handing down these philosophies to his students and it showed in every class. This book, by letting him tell his story through his own words is not a book by me but a gift from him. He was brilliant. I believe this book, Suh Do Kwan, the Way of Suh, will reveal that on its own without further commentary.
