Commonwealth Theology-An Introduction-is about 2,000 years overdue. It is fashioned to highlight the RESTORATION of the Two Houses of Israel: Judah and Ephraim. It emphasizes the RECONCILIATION of this One Stick in the hand of YHWH and of the coming Messianic Age. In so doing it unravels the two primary theological systems of our day: Replacement/Rejection Theology and Dispensationalism. It calls for a radical and agonizing reappraisal of why Paul uses Ephraim in Hosea to explain the plan and purpose of the Almighty in displaying His mercy on us ALL, whereby ALL ISRAEL shall be delivered by the DELIVERER Who shall roar out of Zion. This is not Identity theology. This is the Awakening "In the latter days you will consider it" (Jeremiah 30:24b; Ezekiel 37:15-28).When we read Ephesians 2:11-22 we understand that the expressions "without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel" and "now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God" (vss. 12 and 19) suggests to us that our previous status as "aliens, strangers, and foreigners" had everything to do with this "Commonwealth of Israel." But now, we who once were "without Christ" no longer have those designations, but are now considered as "fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God" (vss. 12 and 19).To assert that the "blood of Christ" (vs. 13) had nothing to do with this inclusion into the Commonwealth of Israel is a jaded reading of the text. There is the pernicious and stultifying tendency in the minds of some to suggest that entry into the Commonwealth of Israel is not at stake here. The notion that the blood of Christ brings us into Christ Jesus Himself-into His "one body through the cross" (vs. 16) and that this is separate and apart from bringing us, as well, into the Commonwealth of Israel, is simply NOT justified by the plain reading of the text.The context is altogether too clear in that the reference after the mentioning of the "one body through the cross" we read: "Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God" (vss. 16 and 19). What Paul is emphasizing is abundantly clear: Through the "blood of Christ" - "through the cross" (vss. 13, 16) we have moved from our previous status as aliens, strangers, and foreigners to full-blown legal citizens of the Commonwealth of Israel and are now within a new polity (state, authority, jurisdiction, administration-the amplified meaning of the word "commonwealth").Once we were "strangers from the covenants of promise" - we had "no hope" and we were "without God in the world" - but now through His blood we "have been brought near." "Near" to what? To the Commonwealth of Israel-"with Christ" we are included in the Commonwealth of Israel . . . without Christ we once were aliens. NO MORE; through His blood we who once "were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ" (vs. 13). Many prickly theological issues concerning Israel, the Ekklesia (aka, the Church) and the Nations is carefully laid; however, the text is decidedly introductory to this most ambitious effort.We delve into the the "breaking of the Two Staffs" - Beauty and Bonds or Favor and Unity as found in Zechariah 11 and how these Staffs played out in the Early Church in her relationship with Judah-Israel.An exhaustive commentary is given concerning the Two Witnesses of Revelation 11 - for they are corporate witnesses: Israel (the Two Olives Trees) and the Ekklesia (the Church) as the Two Lampstands. It is time for a "contemporary commentary" on the book of Zechariah--one of the most Messianic books of the Bible . . . and one which is way overdue given the extremity of the hour in which we live. Dr. John Walvoord once said that Zechariah's Eight Visions, Prophecy, and, I would add, Messianic Scenario, is the most "stereoscopic eschatology" presented in Holy Writ.Zechariah's impactful evening of the Eight Visions and singular Prophecy in the Crowning of Israel's High Priest, Joshua, as KING - thus, the Kingship and the Priesthood - is domiciled in one person--a Person who reflects upon the prophetic image of the Son of Man in His High Priestly work, but Who Reigns supreme within the context of My Servant, the Branch and the Man Whose Name is BRANCH--King of kings. Even so, the First and Second Comings of Messiah are integrated into the Visions and Prophecy of Zechariah.The themes throughout these Eight Visions encompass the full extant of prophetic visions seen in the Bible--their placement during the reign of Darius II, Artaxerxes the Great, whose Queen Esther (Hadassah), makes the time frame between 521-485 BC. Given the Decree announced by King Cyrus in 537 BC and the commencement of the Temple's foundation in 536 BC . . . we find the Second Temple's completion some 21 years later (536-515 BC) in the sixth year of the reign of Darius II--no doubt the initial 7 years construction and then the 8-year hiatus when the work ceased under Cambyses/Artaxerxes and then the final 6 years under Darius was most arduous; yet, inspiring for it was "Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, saith the Lord" (Zech. 4:6).The UNIVERSAL LAMPSTAND displays the most inspiring of all the visions received on that incredible eve. It is ultimately reflected in Revelation chapter 1 when the Son of Man stands in the midst of the "Seven Golden Lampstands" as the PROPHET - for on either side of the Stem and Bowl atop thereof are the "Two Sons of Oil" - Joshua representing the Priesthood; and Zerubbabel, representing the Kingship/Governor within their midst is the PROPHET, the Son of Man.It was not until the 20th Year in the reign of King Artaxerxes Longimanus in 445 BC that Nehemiah's WALL was finished. The Decrees in the 7th Year to embellish the Second Temple given to Ezra in 458 BC and the final Decree given to Nehemiah to finish the Wall in 445 BC completed the Persian Decrees regarding the Second Temple and the Wall of the City.We affirm that the Decree of Cyrus the Great in 537 BC terminated the 70-years captivity of Judah (608/607 BC unto 538/537 BC and introduced the 70 Weeks of Daniel's prophecy comprised of two GAPS wherein the first 49 years (7 weeks) of the prophecy extended from 537 BC to 488 BC with nigh a GAP of some 87 to 88 years unto 401 BC and then the commencement of the next 62 Weeks unto "Messiah the Prince" on that Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem on 10 Nisan, 33 AD - some 434 years later - we now await the final 70th Week of Daniel wherein its calculation MAY find its commencement in the year 2018 (33 AD - 2018 AD or another GAP of some 1,985 years ) with the final 70th Week bringing us to the year 2025 AD. Extensive chronologies from the Bible are presented indicating Adam's Creation date to be that of 3975 BC with "Man's Days" totaling 6,000 years, ending in 2025 AD and the coming of the Son of Man, the Son of David.The scattering and fasting of Judah in chapters 7-8 of the text are greeted in Zechariah 9 with the Oracle of Damascus--which is taking place today From there we are led to Zech. 9:9-10 the most Messianic descriptions given of Messiah riding on a donkey and His Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem and thence the commencement of the Messianic Scenario until the Millennial Rule and Reign of the Son of David.The text is exhaustive--not an easy read--nigh 70 pp. of Subject Index and some 2,000 Scripture References--this Magnum Opus took some 33 years in the making - God bless you--read on

Finally, a work that places antiquity's Triumphal Arches in the context of their origins and why this is not only history past but present. Furthermore, the context of these monuments are anything but naive displays of grandeur--they were erected to demonstrate the triumph of the victor over the conquered. What is most fascinating is the original Roman Arch of Triumph fully developed by General Titus to commemorate the Roman Empire's victory over Judea and the commencement of the diaspora of the Jews circa 70 AD.The authors "connect the dots" whereby the Kingdoms of the World under the "Bondage of Egypt" from whence Israel's First Exodus took place have been at deliberate odds with the Kingdom of God. Alas The Second Exodus - the Greater Exodus culminates at the "end of the age" in which "God's Elect" from both Israel, primarily the House of Judah, and "those called out from among the Gentiles" - that "multitude among the nations" which is prophetically labeled the "Fullness of the Gentiles" - reach their zenith.Indeed, this is not an abhorrent teaching found within British Israelism or a Noahide derivative--or for that matter, for those in the know, some form of Hebrew Roots. No, this is the eternal purpose of the Almighty who purposed through His Messiah, the Deliverer Who shall come "out of Zion" to rescue His ancient people and those brought into the "Commonwealth of Israel (again, those from among the nations--the Gentiles--a "people for His Name") AND to make of these "two house" - these "two sticks" - one nation, one peculiar people - distinct but not separated for eternity Yes, this is an intense commentary based of extensive biblical passages which confirm the New Covenant and its Everlasting Covenant of Peace between these two which was won in atonement at the Cross nigh 2,000 years ago - but, as the reader shall discover, the "enemy of our souls" has heretofore kept the "faithful son" and the "prodigal son" - jealous and apart, the one from the other--but the Father desires there to be but One House.Even so, Messiah came to the "lost sheep of the House of Israel" - but did He not say: "Other sheep I have which are not of this fold, them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice, and there will be one flock and and one shepherd" (John 10:16)?Those with a Jewish background should read this text with intense interest--Christians who have heretofore dismissed such insights do well to consider the major theological issues raised as a result of these discoveries and why they confront us at this most critical time in world history.The authors have generously illustrated the text to substantiate its contents and have prepared an exhaustive Scripture Reference Index, as well as an Exhaustive Subject Index and Bibliography. Authors Schafer and Krieger realize the subject matter is NOT for general consumption; however, with the outbreak of "Biblical Zionism"--the prophetic fulfillment of the Jews returning to Eretz Israel (the Land of Israel) and Christians of goodwill who know that their relationship with this prophetic fulfillment brings the world close to the Messianic age and the "final redemption" - then ought not there to be greater light from the pages of this Book of book by the very "people of the book" wherein it is said in "The Scripture of Truth" (Daniel 10:21): "But you, O Daniel, shut up the words and seal the Book until the time of the end. Then] many shall run to and fro and search anxiously through the Book], and knowledge of God's purposes as revealed by His prophets] shall be increased and become great" (Daniel 12:4).Yes, this is an intense theological discourse; but it is a book of pending fulfillment--a prophetic call for "God's People" to embrace their glorious destiny. The timing of the Church's Rapture has been and continues to be among premillenarian Christians (i.e., they who affirm a literal 1,000-year reign of the Son of David upon the Earth in the person of the glorified Son of Man) a most contentious issue. They who refrain or boast that they are, consequently, "pan-trib" are only hiding from the fray behind ignorance or seek to keep a very shaky "unity" with others around the table where such issues are best left to the nether world of those who delight in counting the number of angels who can dance on the end of a pin. Under the adage that "They who stand for nothing may fall for anything" cannot be said of stalwart pretribbers (i.e., those who believe the Rapture comes before the final Week of human history as we know it to be--the 70th Week of Daniel's prophecy found in Daniel 9:24-27). They at least have conviction on the matter. Although this text will "take on" the alleged "biblical" assumptions of the pretrib Rapture position as doctrinally erroneous; it at least commends them for taking a position Furthermore, they are our "comrades in arms" when push comes to shove in the trenches of "spiritual warfare" in the latter days. Notwithstanding our many compatibilities on key elements, not only of the Faith once delivered to the saints, but on a host of prophetic possibilities--we simply agree to disagree agreeably on one of the most important aspects of end-times' prophecy: The Rapture's Timing.This text seeks to systematically counter point after point made by those versed in the pre-trib position--and, yes, this is an in-house food fight . . . so if this might interest you, it would most likely be because you take your eschatology seriously enough to delve into these matters.Much is at stake regarding the primary issues of the pre-trib position relative to the chronological order of Matthew 24-25 - the timing of the "Birth Pangs of the Messiah" - issues defining the timing of the Day of the Lord, Day of Christ, Day of God - the nature of the Wrath of God/the Lamb vs. the "Devil's Great Wrath" - Tribulation vs. God's Wrath - the "Time of Jacob's Trouble" - issues surrounding the "Tribulation Saints" - Israel and the Church's possible "united testimony" in the Latter Days - the so-called "Imminent Return of Christ" - the "Last Trumpet" - the Revelation of the Man of Sin/the Antichrist - timing/nature of the Abomination of Desolation - the timing of the New Heaven and New Earth - the Fullness of the Gentiles - Who are the Two Witnesses? - John the Baptist would have been Elijah "if you would have received him?" All these and many more issues are brought forward in systematic fashion in an attempt to "deconstruct" the superstructure of the pre-trib Rapture of the Church.If you are easily offended by such disputes and find them counter-productive to the "main thing" of the gospel, we unapologetically do not concur with your position. It is time to examine these matters with all due diligence to determine if these things be so--what if one is the wrong and the Church embarrassingly, if you would, finds herself smack dab in the middle of the fray at the end of days until "they the martyrs of the Church under the Fifth Seal] should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were was completed" (Rev. 5:11)? Are these martyrs just the martyrs during the "tribulation" or do they represent the martyrs of all generations? Rev. 3:10 speaks of being "kept from the hour of trial which is to test them that dwell on the earth." Agreed. But are not these the same "earth dwellers" who delight in the death of the "Two Martyrs" (a.k.a. Witnesses) of Rev. 11? This nearly 500-page book - if you can endure unto the end - is designed to change your world view. This fourth edition of SIGNS IN THE HEAVENS & ON THE EARTH...Man's Days Are Numbered and He Is Measured has added to its title: He Is Measured - in that the entire text subjectively incorporates the dimensions of Paradise to be that of the Bride of Messiah comprised of both the Divine and the human in eternal bliss but measured as a Holy City: "Come, I will show you the Woman, the Lamb's Bride . . . We affirm that there is, as discovered by the ancients, a "code of number" which repeatedly replicates itself in ratio and/or in direct proportion within astronomy, mathematics-geometry, music, a multitude of ancient monuments and, in particular, biblical objects, chemistry, the arts and even the social order as was the case with Plato's discourse regarding Optimal Societal Harmony relative to his ideal Magnesia, juxtaposed to the antithesis of harmony and universal equilibrium, Atlantis. The identity of the Two Witnesses, and when they shall appear upon the prophetic scene, takes an eschatological back seat to what they actually do. The word for "witness" in the Bible's Greek has its root in the word "martyr" - for these witnesses upon giving the culmination of their testimony against the Wicked One's Great City, Babylon . . . against his apostate religious, exploitative commercial and corrupted political system know full-well that if they do so, and they most definitely will, they most likely will have to pay with their lives, so costly will be their disclosures. But they know, as well, a "great cloud of witnesses" have gone on before them; many perished for the same reasons and many of them survived his onslaughts.Eventually, the witnesses are as prophets; willing to tell all and to persuade multitudes to believe there's a better life beyond this temporal pale where true justice and lasting peace abides forevermore."The Two Witnesses" are bigger than life. You will testify for some 1,260 days with power and authority. Will the witnesses tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, so help you God? YES

Weltungschuug is a German word meaning "world view" but more so--how you act based upon your world view. "The Two Witnesses" is a veritable magnum opus regarding the "end of days" relationship between Israel (a.k.a. National Israel and the Jews of the Diaspora) and the "prophetic" Church of the "last days." It will determine your world view and ipso facto, as Francis Schaffer's famous text states: "How Shall We Then Live?" The Eschatology wrought by Dispensationalism heightened among the faithful Israel's peculiar Latter Days' incursion upon the world stage through Zionism's ultimate quest for an "Eretz Israel" - today's State of Israel. Israel's materiality has become a "cup of trembling" to all the nations "round about" and, as well, a theological imbroglio, a veritable Gordian Knot around the Church's neck: Either Israel is naught but a fluke of history, wholly insignificant, a creation of Western idealism gone amok, and worse, nothing more than a guilt-ridden expression devolved into an unjustifiable apartheid state . . . a pariah within democracy and a contradiction of the universal rights of man; in sum, an utter embarrassment to the West interminably complicating Western foreign policy . . . or she persists as the utmost hope lurching toward Messianic deliverance and the miraculous intrusion of the Son of Man within our confused and militarized affairs, righting our Humpty Dumpty back together again wherein peace, justice and harmony takes on a Platonic expression of Magnesia or, better said, that of the New Jerusalem.The two volumes presents a cosmic view of the Two Witnesses announced in Revelation 11--they are not X-Men. Sorry, such a parochial designation is the total antithesis of the Scripture's intent--if you read this, you'll soon find out that the overarching culmination of their JOINT WITNESS comports to a minimum of 4,000 years of human history compacted into the close of this age within the crucible of Daniel's 70th Week. Indeed, replacement theologians and their religious Historicism view of how all this pans out in the end, embrace the notion that Daniel's final Week, the Seventieth Week, terminated shortly after the crucifixion of Jesus--i.e., there is no futurity to Daniel's Week. Alas Not only is there a gap between the first and second comings of Christ, there is, most definitely such a gap between the 69th and 70th Week of the Daniel 9 cardinal prophecy.What's that got to do with paying your bills? Much in every way. This author who initially saw the identity of the Two Witnesses around 1981 and, subsequently, embarked upon a dialogue with Judaism and then directly with Israeli citizens and officials, went so far as to unite with like-minded Christians and American Jewry (all branches) in drafting what became known as the Washington Declaration--the first ever, as far as we know, of Christians and Jews uniting around the prophetic significance of Israel's in-gathering into their ancient homeland. Over 120 leaders from both communities signed on to the declaration made in Washington, D.C.Notwithstanding this initial outburst, this author found it increasingly difficult to pursue that relationship in that a strong eschatological basis as to WHY and WHEN and HOW that finality could take place within the context of our Weltungschuug and the chasm of separation which existed between the "People of the Book" given the inherent "Messianic tension"--much of which was caused by the theological-eschatological separation caused by dispensationalism itself.
