This story was not penned for clicks, likes, humor or book deals. I wanted to personally understand the history of the neighborhoods that rests on the northern edge of Champaign-Urbana and are known as "The North-End" subsection of a divided community. MY truth was developed in a segregated normalcy. In digging into the historical but hidden gems to record the social movement of becoming recognized as #NORTHTOWN; underneath it the momentum generated the structural elements for ecosystem building. It was clear the pain & disenfranchisement ran several generations deep and was engrained in many families that inhabited the neighborhoods before my birth. My exploration of the northern edge of CU was intended to discover the impact of those experiences and circumstances imprinted on me & many others like me, who were redlined north of University Ave. Before my 1960's generation become Indigenous advocates & community developers and we had the desire to have our own business district; several actions had to take place to complete the task. The backdrop of the town slogan that did not include us, national civil unrest, and now COVID-19 ushered us into a new normal. We can only go North from here

"BIGGER THAN...myself" This manuscript was designed to help individuals, family members, neighborhood inhabitants, and small business owners explore the possibilities of living out their passion and purpose intentionally. In this manuscript, information is provided to be dissected and to show parallels between the personal, interpersonal, and portable principles and how they can influence the eventual pathway that is much more grandiose than selfish ambitions. The pathway is played out through reenactments of the Jacob versus Israel phenomenon.

"America the Dream: protected by gatekeepers" This book is designed to uncover the disadvantages and inequities placed around and within the American Dream from my perspective. Throughout this book I unpack how injustice and exclusion were social constructs to eliminate sections of the masses from advancing with gatekeepers. In today's culture this is a sensitive subject because more people are aware of the crippling systems our nation is built upon and we want our cultural wealth returned. However, now the gate has been left agar without a keeper, what action plan is in place to reclaim our cultural wealth? We detail, when and how the previously underrepresented individuals, families, neighborhood, and groups can take advantage of the uncharted access to the main social constructs as cornerstones of the before mentioned systems.

This training curriculum is designed to highlight the significance of growing capacity continuously, understanding different types of capacity building, and harnessing the capability of stacking experiences & progression upon hard skills and soft skills to positively impact individuals, communities, and organizations.

The development of a process for market research is not a new phenomenon; it's being reinvented for use by small businesses. This resource is the result of countless training, consultations, and the answering of frequently asked questions; about steps that are required; leading up to an emerging entrepreneur scientifically or statistically finding their niche.

These materials help functioning young adults develop those basic skills they neglected because they were collectively and overly coddled by their family, communities, and society in general. In the 21st Century and from a millennial and younger context; individuals must balance their personal, interpersonal & portable abilities in exchanges, interconnections, and communications to resolve problems and conflicts in unrehearsed settings with a small margin for error.
