Over the years I have experienced so many blessings of provision and guidance from the Good Lord's hand, and heard similar stories from many others. I have attempted to write some of these stories from members and pastors of a small Baptist church in the middle of a potato field in rural Queensland.I asked the contributors to tell me a story of a time that the Lord drew near to you and mde his presence felt. He certainly did this in these testimonies of the walk of faith of ordinary men and women.I am certain that all churches have similar stories, it is a pity that they will be forgotten.

Over the years I have had to give conference addresses to tribal pastors in the Philippines. Somehow I was always given the difficult subjects to deal with such as living a miraculous life and suffering and an omnipotent God.Many of my hearers were men who had virtually nothing of what this life has to offer and served under very difficult circumstances.
