"Special Teachings from the Arcane Science" is the first of three works of occultism written by Edward Farnsworth over the course of a decade. It is a compilation of short essays on extremely variable topics, ranging from the zodiac and levitation, to philosophy and mortality.It is written from a Theosophical perspective, however as with many such works, it clarifies, differs, and explains Theosophical opinion and writings and comes from its own unique background.

The Heart of Things is the second of three works of Theosophy created by Edward Farnsworth over the course of two decades. The works were meant as guides for students of the occult, and as such are presented as a series of subtopics variously elaborated on.The content of this second volume of lore is largely planetary and deals with categorical systems for organisms and spirits, as well as the importance of colors, hierarchies, and some interesting philosophy of the period including some material by Blavatsky.

"The Deeper Mysteries" is a compilation of short sections on various subjects ranging from Swedenborg to levitation and from Atlantis to Buddhist mysticism. The third part of Farnsworths' three part series on occult subjects, it delves deeper than its predecessors into the generally paranormal and spiritual.It is a must-read for those interested in the subject matter; which is wide ranging enough to be of use well beyond Theosophy and comparable systems, although it frequently quotes and invokes Blavatsky and others.
