Better Together, Built to Last, is a faith-filled, honest, and down-to-earth guide, blending wisdom, grace, and a touch of humor because, let's be honest, marriage is full of moments that will either make you laugh or test your patience. Writing this book together as husband and wife we share insights from our journey of having a baby and marrying young, only to be met with the unexpected challenges of parenting, military life, and the rollercoaster of adulting. Love was our starting point, but we soon realized that staying together through life's challenges requires more than just love. Cracks appeared in our foundation, and we had two choices: drift apart or come together to relay it and rebuild our house, one brick at a time. This book is for couples in every season, those whose marriages feel strong, those barely holding on, and everyone in between. It's for newlyweds laying their foundation, military families navigating unique pressures, and anyone longing to build (or rebuild) a lasting love. Through the lens of building a house, we'll walk you through laying a solid foundation, reinforcing your connection, repairing what's been damaged, and nurturing the kind of love that weathers every storm. With practical tools, heartfelt stories, and gentle guidance (sprinkled with some honest laughs from lessons learned the hard way), this book will encourage, equip, and empower you to not just survive marriage-but to build a lasting legacy of love, joy, and unwavering commitment. We hope that as you read, you'll find grace for where you've been, strength for where you are, and hope for where you're headed-together, on a foundation that's truly built to last.
Helix is a fast-paced action adventure novel following the plight of four humans when they crashland on what they think is a desolate, ice-bound planet. In December 1943, a top secret contract (E.24/43) was awarded to Miles Aircraft. The contract was to build the world's first supersonic jet capable of 1000mph. The only reliable source of data on supersonic objects came from the Armament Research Dept and their wind tunnel tests on ammunition. From this, Miles developed an exceptionally thin-winged, bullet-shaped aircraft. the research was inexplicably passed to the Americans in 1944. By December 1945, one prototype was virtually complete. The second, destined for an attempt at the sound barrier was 80 per cent complete. In February 1946, Capt Eric Brown was confirmed as the test pilot and October 1946 was set for the supersonic trials. However, on 12 February 1946, Miles were ordered to stop production. No plausible explanation was given for the cancellation when Britain was within six months of breaking the sound barrier. Eric Brown and others directly involved including Dennis Bancroft, the Chief Aerodynamicist on the M.52, have now come together to try and finally solve the mystery behind the cancellation.

It is a journey that willtake 80 years, the crew, who will eventually set up the wormhole on the planet, kept in suspendedanimation. But only a few years into the trip, catastrophe strikes and the ship blows up en route, killing allaboard. 2190, eighty years after the starship set out. It means going back to the one place he vowed never to return to: Arcturus Seven. A Closed Planet; a hothouse world where every plant and animal is hell-bent on killing and consuming you; the place that cost him the life of the only woman he has ever truly loved. Jonathan knows the wealthy tycoon seeking to recruit him cannot be trusted, but he has no choice. If he doesn't do it, someone else will, and Arcturus Seven has a secret, one which must never be disclosed, so Jonathan accepts the mission even though it means facing memories he has spent years denying.
