This book is a report of a 2-year web-based teaching project called Multimedia English Learning Web. It demonstrates the use of information technology on English language teaching, with particular reference to how the pedagogic changes redefine the roles of students and teachers, and the problems encountered when teaching English on the web. A CD-ROM accompanies with the book to demonstrate the system design of the web-based project.
