Mary Lou Williams /Jazz Genius from Child to Adult is a coloring book that examines the life of this pianist from a child prodigy to an adult and all the styles of jazz she played. This coloring book is education for adults, youth and children and includes poetic words and wonderful illustrations. This is one of three books in a trilogy of books written by Poet Fabu. The others are Remember Me: Mary Lou Williams in Poetry and Sacred Mary Lou. Sacred Mary Lou is based on the sacred jazz that Williams created and brilliantly played.

Poems, Dreams and Roses by Fabu (the 3rd Madison, Wisconsin Poet Laureate) is a book of poetry for children and youth. It includes personal photographs and poems from Fabu and her journey as a poet from baby to adult. The poems and the photos follow her from elementary school to university. It includes a glossary and a poem sheet at the back to have each poet write their own poem. The back cover is Fabu's Life Map. This book is designed to encourage young poets and youth interested in learning poetry.

Sacred Mary Lou is a book of poetry based on Mary Lou William's Mass for Peace. Each of these originial poems by Poet Fabu is written to connect words to William's original compositions. Mary's Mass was published in 1971 and introduced jazz into the traditional Catholic Mass. The first 25 poems reflect Poet Fabu's poetic interpretation of Williams' music and the last eight poems are Poet Fabu's responses to the Mass.

Love Poems Again are poems on contemporary love that includes a poem on every type of love; spirititual love, family love, love for people and ideals, and of course, romantic love. The book is written from an African American perspective and world view on love.
