Det nye Atlantiser en utopisk fabel fra 1627, skrevet av den engelske renessansefilosofen Francis Bacon (1561–1626).Det nye Atlantis skriver seg inn i tradisjonen som Thomas More innstiftet med Utopiasnaut hundre år tidligere. Bacon bruker det litterære og filosofiske forelegget fra More til å uttrykke nye tanker, i polemikk mot More og andre renessansehumanister. Tittelen er en henvisning til Platons bruk av myten om det svunne Atlantis i dialogene Timaios og Kritias, tekster som følger i kjølvannet av og knytter an til Staten (Politeia), som er Platons politisk-filosofiske hovedverk og som beskriver hans idealsamfunn. Bacon er imidlertid den første som bruker det svunne Atlantis som rammefortelling i en utopifabel.
