See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise. - Ephesians 5:15My dear friend, you cannot do God's work in the world, buying up opportunities for Him, transacting His business, if you are careless and indifferent about it. Be careful how you walk. I know men and women who are very careful when they are at home, and awfully careless when they are away from home. I know other men and women who seem to imagine that they can live the Christian life and do God's work without being careful in the small details of everyday life. If I am to translate my life into service for God, not merely in the deeds done in connection with the church, but also in all hours, I will only do it as I live carefully day by day.ContentsCh. 1: The Apostle Paul's Estimate of LifeCh. 2: Health of SpiritCh. 3: Naaman's DilemmaCh. 4: Do You Wish to Get Well?Ch. 5: Clay in the Potter's HandCh. 6: The Divine Government of Human LivesCh. 7: Redeeming the TimeCh. 8: Gathering or ScatteringCh. 9: The Danger of Pitching Your Tent toward

In his early ministerial work George Campbell Morgan was not lead by any formal training, but by his dedication to biblical studies. It is this commitment that allowed Morgan to so effortlessly reveal the essence of the practice of prayer.Morgan begins by writing of the consciousness of lack, a perception that is still so prevalent today. Through the course of this book, he guides us from this sense of poverty back to a space of power and reveals how opening our hearts to sorrow allows us to align our will with the will of God.Morgan reminds us of what is possible through prayer and talks of the relationship between science and religion. He discusses the trinity clearly and concisely, yet with great heart. Morgan then makes us aware of how we can prepare ourselves for a prayer-filled life and not the segmented moments that prayer is to most of us.If you have ever bowed your head and lifted your heart to the Lord in prayer, this book will serve to deepen your experience.

Malachi's Message to the Men of Today: A Bible Study of Old Testament Prophecy
G. Campbell Morgan offers commentary upon the Book of Malachi, detailing its wisdom, spiritual advice, and relevance to the modern Christian. Closely examining the text, Morgan explains the key elements of Malachi's prophecy, mentioning his belief early in his narrative that the value of Malachi's words are greater in the modern day than ever before. Justifying this claim, Morgan examines the time in which Malachi made his predictions, and demonstrates how these have been shown as correct in later literature and echoed in other prophecies. Traversing the scriptures with his signature fluency, Morgan conducts a verse-by-verse analysis of Malachi. Cross-referencing these with other passages of the Bible, in both the Old and New Testaments, the author passionately makes the case that Malachi is an underappreciated prophet whose words resonate throughout scripture and time.

G. Campbell Morgan's classic guide to making and delivering religious sermons retains all of its authority and usefulness in the modern day. This book contains a simple series of instructions which focus and instruct upon key attributes all good sermons must possess. Using the Bible itself as a guide to dispensing wisdom in speech, Morgan introduces a number of points: how a sermon should commence by setting an atmosphere and receiving the audience's attention; continue by presenting a message that resounds; and finish by affirming the wise truth of the words as presented by God. The author was himself a famous preacher, who would famously captivate congregations with his passionately delivered sermons. Unlike many, less organized churchmen, Morgan wrote his own unique and strikingly eloquent sermons. These original works gained the admiration of scholars and lay worshipers, were influential in the evangelical movement of the early 20th century.

The Answer of Jesus to Job is G. Campbell Morgan's deeply insightful and flowing commentary of the Biblical Book of Job. This superb commentary is structured similarly to a story, with the events and narrative in the Book of Job examined closely. Owing to his years of intense Bible study, G. Campbell Morgan is perfectly equipped to ably guide the reader through a text often considered to be among the most difficult of Biblical lore. Morgan's plain eloquence allows the receptive Christian to absorb and know the wisdom of the Bible in a manner which is respectful and enlightening. Morgan takes us through every episode of Job, but does so in a way that flows and reads well: the direct passages and lines are only seldom cited, and the style of writing allows readers to follow along easily without the constant citation of the Bible. Quotes are instead appended sparingly, when Morgan feels the need to fully illustrate a given topic.
