The House on Harlandale offers a historical scenario drawn on real people, real events, and the inevitable aftermath of conflicting ideologies. Like thousands of meteors racing to a point of collision, powerful forces fueled by Cold War paranoia came together in a small house in the Oak Cliff section of Dallas in November 1963. The result was the death of a president and a radical change in world politics. Diverse Cold War forces merged out of nationalistic ideology, lust for power, intolerance, hatred, and greed. Rogue US Intelligence operatives, Cuban patriots, Mafioso, and military hawks allied to a common goal. The government was stolen in a coup d'etat, using lies and fear to manipulate the masses into acceptance. This book is the story of how it may have all come together at the House on Harlandale.

When an iconic group of stellar musicians are abducted by an alien force, they find themselves entangled in a cosmic struggle on other worlds against a tyrannical overlord bent upon total domination at any cost - and by any means necessary."Hill weaves a unique tale that focuses upon the vast potentiality of music, the importance of true camaraderie, and the power in gestalt - all while juxtaposing contemporary socio-political overtones that echo those that humanity seems hell-bent upon relearning over and over again."Heath D. Alberts - Author of "Last Rights"

The Rockford, Illinois music scene has always been one worth documentation, but there has never been a massive ongoing coordinated concrete effort to make a record of that scene in physical print form beyond individual books and newsprint zines. We're hoping with this new series to make steps to fixing that problem. It seems a shame to let the history of a vibrant music scene be relegated to scraps of things that just happened to be kept in a drawer somewhere. The Rockford scene has always deserved a better treatment than that, and we're hoping to help the cause. Whether you've been a part of the Rockford music scene in anyway or not, we hope that you find these books to be a lasting record of a history worth preserving. This third book focuses on four bands: Pulse18, RIPT, Shifty Shafer and The Stevee Nix.
