The Anti-Christ is a short collection of writings by Dr. George W. Carey. This compilation includes The Anti-Christ (1918), a brief essay by Dr. Carey, and selected chapters from God-Man: The Word Made Flesh (1920).These selections explain how the common interpretation of the Scriptures is far afield from what was intended. They explore how the original meaning of the Biblical texts was deliberately skewed and obfuscated by the Roman Emperor Constantine and the council of Nicaea, convened in 325 AD. George Washington Carey (1845-1924) was an American occultist, homeopath, and writer. He combined religion, astrology, chemistry, and a laser focus on original texts to extrapolate what he believed was the true meaning of the life of Christ, the true nature of the human body, and the true nature of humanity. Dr. Carey's most well-known principles were in what he termed "biochemistry." This discipline was built on the cell-salt theory by Dr. Wilhelm Heinrich Sch ler, who held that bodily deficiencies in 12 naturally occurring minerals caused myriad diseases. And by supplementing them, one could cure their ailments. Dr. Carey combined some of Dr. Sch ler's theories with his own views on the importance of the signs of the zodiac, positing that one's sun sign may impact which cell-salts will be most effective for each individual. There are still homeopathic practitioners today who use cell-salts to treat their patients.Inside this volume, you will find: ● The Anti-Christ (1918)● The Kingdom at Hand (from God-Man: The Word Made Flesh)● The Anti-Christ (from God-Man: The Word Made Flesh, a reprint of The Anti-Christ tract of 1918 with minor modifications)● What So Called Christians Say, and the Answer Combined, these works explore the original truth as known by the earliest Christians-that the stories in the original Scriptures "were allegories, parables or fables based on the human body 'fearfully and wonderfully made.'" According to Carey and Perry, the parables in the Bible were not records of historical fact. Instead, they were used to describe the human body as a microcosm of the universe. And Christ is not a Divine Man sent to save us, but rather exists within us all. Drawing on the source language in Hebrew and Greek rather than the many translations and mistranslations, the authors show that the original intent of the words of the Biblical texts was to explore what is within us, rather than what is outside of us. And how was this truth hidden from us? The Roman Emperor Constantine-the anti-Christ-convened the council of Nicaea to vote on the true meaning of the scriptures. And he pushed the council to make salvation a simple matter of belief as a means for quieting his own fears for his soul.

God-Man: The Word Made Flesh (1920) is a book of mysticism exploring how the allegories of scripture relate to the truths of the cosmos and the human body. Within many of the Biblical parables, George W. Carey and Inez Eudora Perry find that many of the people described were in fact personifications of the wisdom needed to reach spiritual enlightenment.George Washington Carey (1845-1924) and Inez Eudora Perry (1871-1961) were collaborators on topics of astrology, homeopathy, and biochemistry. Combining Christianity, ancient religions, physiology, anatomy, and more, Dr. Carey and Ms. Perry sought the answers to the nature of humanity and God.One of the pair's lasting contributions was to the field of biochemistry. Influenced by Dr. Wilhelm Heinrich Sch ler who identified cell-salts-naturally occurring minerals that could supplement deficiencies in the human body-Dr. Carey went further, associating the signs of the zodiac to a natural deficiency in these minerals. Through careful supplementation, he believed that one could cure a host of physical and psychological ailments.Astrologer Inez Eudora Perry was an adherent to Dr. Carey's ideas. The pair wrote several works together, including The Tree of Life and Relation of the Mineral Salts of the Body to the Signs of the Zodiac. In 1923, Dr. Carey made Ms. Perry a partner in his biochemical foundation, which was renamed The Carey-Perry School of The Chemistry of Life.God-Man: The Word Made Flesh explores the allegory within scripture. Rather than taking each parable as literal truth, their interpretation draws on knowledge of the human body, astrology, world religions, and symbolism to find the real meaning behind the Biblical text.In the story of Sara and Abram, for example, they explain that rather than a literal story in which a 90-year-old woman (Sara) and 100-year-old man (Abram) give birth to a son (Isaac), their real "child" is happiness-the meaning of the word Isaac in Hebrew. The true lesson is that "...age imposes no limit or barrier to the birth of the 'Incorruptible Seed' (Peter) for it is eternal life.""Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Noah, David, Solomon, Isaiah, etc., etc., are not historical characters," he writes. Nor are Pontius Pilate, Pharaoh, or Herod, which are names of offices or functions rather than individuals. Through exploring the meanings of these names, down to the letters that create them in the original Hebrew, the writers find new truth in the stories that have been misinterpreted for so long.At the center of this truth is the idea that the parables in the Bible were meant to describe the human body as a microcosm of the universe. But at the council of Nicea, it was voted that "...the symbols of the human body were persons; that Jesus was a certain historical man, a contention utterly and indubitably without foundation, in fact, and that all who believed (?) the story would be saved and forgiven here and now." From this vote, the true meaning of the scriptures was hidden from us, preventing us from reaching our highest physical and spiritual wellness.Further complicating these misunderstandings are the myriad translations of the Biblical text. By revisiting and retranslating the original Greek and Hebrew, the authors seek to return to the original meaning of the words rather than relying on another's interpretation of them. For the seeker of truth and the student of mysticism, God-Man: The Word Made Flesh is a valuable contribution to your studies.

The Zodiac and the Salts of Salvation is a two-part work by frequent collaborators Dr. George Washington Carey (1845-1924) and Inez Eudora Perry (1871-1961). This book explores the use of certain minerals called "cell-salts" to cure disease and how one's Zodiac sign impacts their cell-salt deficiencies. Dr. Carey was a homeopath whose theories of biochemistry had their foundation in the work of Dr. Wilhelm Heinrich Schubler. Dr. Schubler and his predecessors had developed the concept of cell-salts - naturally occurring minerals - to supplement deficiencies in the human body, thus curing disease and ailments. Carey agreed with this idea. He proposed that illness cannot be cured by removal of some poison, but can only be remedied by adding some necessary element, some food, to the human body to restore balance. Dr. Carey's unique contribution to the field of biochemistry was to connect each of the twelve cell-salts with a particular sign of the Zodiac. In his pamphlet The Relation of Mineral Salts to the Body and to the Signs of the Zodiac, Carey describes the characteristics of each Zodiac sign, their Biblical connection through a corresponding son of Jacob and disciple of Christ, and the cell salt in which they are often deficient. Those born under the sign of Aries, for example, "are natural doubters until they figure a thing out for themselves." The associated cell-salt is potassium phosphate, "the greatest healing agent known to man, because it is the chemical base of material expression and understanding." While Dr. Carey's work on mineral salts and the Zodiac is foundational, it is also largely theoretical. After Dr. Carey's death in 1924, collaborator Inez Eudora Perry republished The Relation of Mineral Salts to the Body and to the Signs of the Zodiac, and supplemented it with an additional work of her own that expounded on Dr. Carey's ideas. The resulting work was published in 1932 as The Zodiac and the Salts of Salvation. Perry's contribution is titled An Esoteric Analysis and Synthesis of the Zodiacal Signs and their Physiochemical Allocations. Part two is much longer than part one, with thorough explanations of both the symbolism and practical uses of each cell-salt. She also explores more thoroughly the connection of the Zodiac to the body of man - comparing the macrocosm of the universe to the microcosm of the human body. Aries, the Ram, is associated with the human head. As the highest part of the body, the head is the place of ascension and elevation. It contains the brain, the organ that separates man from beast. Carey and Perry work through the entire Zodiac, explaining the symbolism of each sign and relating it to the greater universe, different cultural traditions including Christianity and eastern philosophy, the human body, and the human mind. The combination of the two parts is of enormous value - Dr. Carey's Relation of Mineral Salts as an introduction, and Ms. Perry's Esoteric Analysis for a more thorough and comprehensible explanation. This book is still popular among homeopathic circles, and the cell-salts, sometimes called tissue salts, are used frequently in alternative medicine.
Relation of the Mineral Salts of the Body to the Signs of the Zodiac
Dr. George Washington Carey's 1932 work Relation of the Mineral Salts of the Body to the Signs of the Zodiac unites homeopathy and astrology to explain both the causes and cures of human disease. Dr. Carey's unique blend of chemistry, physiology, religion, and astrology has made him a popular writer in homeopathic circles since the early 20th century. Dr. Carey's work was greatly influenced by the experiments of another contemporary doctor, Wilhelm Heinrich Sch ler. Dr. Sch ler was the first to identify the twelve "cell-salts," which Dr. Carey expounds on further in Relation of Mineral Salts. Dr. Carey is perhaps best known for his "Chemistry of Life" publications, released in the 1910s. These works are still popular in New Age circles. In The Chemistry of Human Life (1919), Dr. Carey originated the idea that the human body is a "chemical formula in operation," and without each chemical in the correct amount, the formula will no longer create the desired effect - a healthy and vibrant person. Relation of the Mineral Salts of the Body to the Signs of the Zodiac expands on this idea and ties these chemical needs to the Zodiac. Published posthumously in 1932, this work was co-written with Inez E. Perry. Dr. Carey collaborated with Ms. Perry several times before his death in 1924. Relation is Dr. Carey's contribution to a larger two-part work titled The Zodiac and the Salts of Salvation. In this short volume, Dr. Carey explains that all maladies are due to a deficiency in some necessary chemical, or "cell-salt." Just as the "cure" for a shadow is to introduce light, the cure for maladies of the human body is to introduce some vital element for the nourishing of our blood and organs. But which cell-salts are we deficient in? That may well depend on the position of the sun at our birth - or our Zodiac signs. Dr. Carey describes the 12 signs of the Zodiac, including their characteristics and the cell-salts that he recommends to cure the diseases of each. For example, those born between June 21st and July 22nd under the sign of Cancer exhibit "tenacity...in holding onto home or dwelling place." This is represented by the crab, who has both a tight grip and "carries its house along wherever it goes in order that it may be sure of a dwelling." Dr. Carey identifies the salt fluoride of lime (or calcium fluoride) as the most important salt for the Cancer. When it is deficient, tissue fiber loses its elasticity. Symptoms of this relaxation can include varicose veins and interestingly, "a groundless fear of financial ruin." There are Biblical connections explored as well. Dr. Carey associates both the twelve apostles and the twelve sons of Jacob and their respective tribes to an astrological sign. Jacob's tenth Zebulum, or Zebulun in many modern translations, represents Cancer. His name even translates to "dwelling" in Hebrew. Dr. Carey was not the first to make the connection between the twelve sons of Jacob, twelve apostles of Christ, and the Zodiac. In fact, Rev. Robert Taylor may have been the first to make this connection in the mid-19th century in a series of controversial sermons. His ideas were so contentious that he was banned from preaching in the United Kingdom. The second part of the work, written by frequent collaborator Inez E. Perry, is titled Esoteric Analysis and Synthesis of the Zodiacal Signs and their Physiochemical Allocations. This volume expands on Relation of Mineral Salts and provides guidance for the use of each mineral to cure disease and reach a more enlightened spiritual state.

After digesting the material presented by Carey and Perry, readers will have a new understanding of basic homeopathic principles, as well as being able to tie various homeopathic remedies to the sun signs. Once this is understood, it is reasonable that the position of the Moon and ascendant in the natal chart and even the position of Saturn may well be indicators of homeopathic remedies that are needed by the physical body. For example, when an Aries is too quick to anger, perhaps a regular does of kali phosphate may even out the temper. Or when Virgo is beginning to feel digestive problems, kali sulphate may help balance out the minerals in the body. Nothing beats going to the doctor when needing a diagnosis; however, knowing the basics of homeopathy can also be likened to keeping a first aid kit in the house. In Part I, Dr. Carey relates the parts of the body to the biochemical cell-salts (homeopathic remedies) that were espoused by Dr. Schuessler. Part II, by Inez Perry, enlarges upon the symbolism of the sun types and the basics about the homeopathic remedies. She discusses the twelve sign types in relation to Biblical symbolism, and also combines information from the Kabbalah, masonic texts, eastern and western philosophy, to trace the spiritual symbolism of the signs. She then shows how the twelve basic biochemical remedies work with the sign types. According to Carey and Perry, astrology deals with the body (anatomy) of the Grand Man (the universe), and by analogy, with the human body as it relates to astrological symbolism. The authors bring back to contemporary astrology students the ancient symbolism that was once common knowledge to astrologers.
