Reunion is the story of my journey to celebrate a decidedly untraditional Passover seder with my family in heaven. Passover is a time of hope and new beginnings. It is our family history; a history we must always remember and retell. And, for me, Passover was the catalyst for a deep soul connection with the family I never really knew. What could be better than breaking matzah together, sharing our stories and talking about issues that mattered - family, faith and love. Shalom is wholeness, harmony, well-being, calm, righteousness, justice and salvation. Shalom is a gift from God. We don't have to be perfect to qualify for shalom. Shalom is engagement in the world in all of its brokenness. Whatever our culture or faith tradition, we are all called to be an instrument of God's shalom. Let us not waste our chance to live the life that God intends for us.

Why do we love Torah? Because it is a tree of life. It nourishes and sustains us. It makes us more loving. It teaches us wisdom. Torah brings God into our lives.
