This book tells the story of a transformational approach to secondary education called W-A-Y (Widening Advancements for Youth). W-A-Y is a non-profit corporation. Currently there are eleven W-A-Y sites in Michigan and one cyber school named "W-A-Y Michigan." W-A-Y demonstrates that young people who have not done well in traditional schools can put their past behind them and move their education and life forward in a highly productive and positive manner. W-A-Y is continuing to grow nationally and internationally through the use of public and private partnerships.

Gray gave up his simple life as a farmer to march off to battle with the armies of the crown. For Dragon's Rest exists to train Paladins, those men and women who have felt the Call to defend mankind from the Demonic forces which hunger for human bodies and souls. In order to graduate, they must face not only the daunting tests of the monastery, but a hidden danger that threatens to destroy Dragon's Rest forever.
