Saint Finbarr, the ancient saint of Ireland, Patron Saint of Cork, shows up on a contemporary beach in Southern California, hangs out for a time with the poet author of this collection, and then departs. It is a mystic visitation that expands into the modern world, well beyond the Roman Catholic confines that formed him.

This collection is mostly story poems. Several of the poems have appeared before in previous collections by the author. Several have had their initial outings in various literary journals, but most will be new to you.Story Poems. A radical notion for most Modernists, but it works to make things interesting to readers.
