Growing up as a Chinese immigrant in America, Harper set out to find herself in all the wrong places. She was seeking for acceptance and love, but ended up hurting herself through the process. 'All the drugs and alcohol combined with friends who use her and relationships that took advantage of her haddeluded the one thing that mattered most, the passion to love herself. She gave love to others until she had none left for herself and was left drowning in her own sorrow.
