Immanuel Kants första publicerade arbete var en naturvetenskaplig betraktelse över vad som då kallades "levande kraft" - i dag skulle vi säga rörelseenergi. Det började tryckas när han bara var 22 år gammal, 1746, men kom inte ut i färdigt skick förrän tre år senare.
