Isaac Albeniz

Isaac Alb?niz (1860-1909) was a musician who laid the foundation for a new Spanish school of composition. The piano pieces are the best part of his legacy. In the early works, the influences of romantic composers are seen (mazurkas, waltzes); the mature and later periods are marked by the composer's heightened interest in the folk music of Spain (12 characteristic pieces). Piano SOLO EDITION, not 4 hands This is a wonderful clean reprint of the original which is presumed to be edited by Albeniz himself. Originally published in Madrid by Union Musical Espanola, 1922, Plate 6288. Extra pages of staff paper and notation in this edition. Great for any piano library or the Albeniz enthusiast.

Beautiful edition of Albeniz' "7 estudios en los tonos naturales mayors, Op. 65". This is a direct reprint of the Union Musical Epanola plates 19906. Out of print for quite some time, it is now in book form. Worthy addition to any pianist's library.

Wonderful combination of two well-known pieces by prolific composer Isaac Albeniz. This reprint of Iberia is based on the original Paris edition from Edition Mutuelle, 1906-08 Plate E. 3083-3086. A must have for any pianist.

Suite Espa ola (Spanish Suite) No. 1, Op. 47 is a staple of the literature for Piano. This particular reprinted edition is from Leipzig, by Friedrich Hofmeister, 1918, Plate 8878-8885. Lovely part, easy to read, and complete with Extra Staff paper and Notes sections in the back.
