기독교신문 칼럼 모음『생명의 샘』. 이 책은 저자가 기독교신문에 게재한 신앙칼럼 일부를 모아 말씀무장 및 가정예배에 활용할 수 있도록 편집한 것이다. 창조주 하나님과 예수 그리스도, 구원, 성령, 예배, 기도, 믿음 등 신앙의 기초적인 내용을 비롯하여 하나님 앞에 인정받는 주의 종과 일꾼이 되는 길을 제시하였다.

Allah kasih memperlihatkan Yerusalem Baru kepada rasul Yohanes dan membolehkannya untuk menulis hal ini dalam Alkitab. Saat ini, di mana Kedatangan Yesus sudah sangat dekat, Allah sedang melimpahkan Roh Kudus pada begitu banyak orang dan membukakan surga dengan sangat detil. Chapter 1 "Are There Really Heaven and Hell?" portrays an overall structure of heaven and Hell. Through the parable of the rich man and the beggar Lazarus in Luke 16, the Upper Grave - where the saved souls from Old Testament times had been waiting - and Lower Grave - where unsaved souls are tormented until the Great Judgment- are explained. In chapter 2 "The Way of Salvation for Those Who Never Heard the Gospel" the judgment of conscience is discussed. Specific criteria of the judgment for many cases are also described: unborn fetuses from abortion or miscarriage, children from birth to five years of age, and children from the age of six to preteen years. Chapter 3 "Lower Grave and the Identity of the Messengers of Hell" elaborates on a waiting place in Lower Grave. People, after death, stay at the waiting place in Lower Grave for three days and then are sent to different places in Lower Grave according to the severity of their sins, and cruelly tormented there until the Judgment of the Great White Throne. The identity of evil spirits governing Lower Grave is also explained. Chapter 4 "Punishments in Lower Grave on Unsaved Children" testifies that even some immature children unable to tell right from wrong do not receive salvation. Various sorts of punishments inflicted upon children are categorized by the age group: punishments for fetuses and suckling, toddlers, children of the age of three to five, and children from six years of age to twelve. Chapter 5 "Punishments for People Who Die after Puberty Years," explains punishments inflicted on people older than adolescents. Punishments for anyone over the age of roughly thirteen are divided into four levels in accordance with the severity of their sins. The more grave people's sins are the greater punishments they receive. Chapter 6 "Punishments for Blaspheming the Holy Spirit," reminds the readers that as written in the Bible, there are certain unforgivable sins of which you cannot repent. The chapter also describes various kinds of punishments through detailed examples...

It gives a great lesson to the churches and believers of today also, and helps us understand the most ideal type of church that can be praised by God. It's because the churches represent all the churches of this world: the church of Ephesus, rebuked for forsaking their first love; the church of Smyrna, overcoming trials of faith; the church of Pergamum, lukewarm and stained with heretical theory; the church of Thyatira, compromising with the world and eating things sacrificed to idols; the church of Sardis, a small church with a name that they were alive but dead; the church of Philadelphia, receiving only commendation for acting with faith; and the church of Laodicea, a big church that was neither hot nor cold.

Kisah-kisah ini telah diterbitkan dalam the Christian Press setiap minggu dan menyentuh hati banyak orang percaya dan para pendeta. Sekarang kisah ini semua sudah dituliskan dalam sebuah buku yang menunjukkan bukti akan iman yang hidup dan pekerjaan Roh Kudus yang adalah Allah yang hidup. Buku ini mengandung kisah hidupnya yang sesungguhnya yang sangat menyentuh nurani kita sebagai manusia. Buku ini juga bercerita tentang pelayanannya termasuk bagaimana ia mendirikan dan mengembangkan Gereja Manmin Pusat. Jadi, buku ini adalah sebuah buku panduan yang bagus yang mengajarkan bagaimana sesungguhnya pelayanan yang benar bagi orang awam yang percaya dan juga bagi para pendeta. Saya mendengar bahwa autobiografi ini telah menyentuh hati dan mempengaruhi banyak pendeta dan orang percaya. Para pendeta sangat tertarik akan pertumbuhan gereja dan kuasa Roh Kudus. Orang awam yang percaya tersentuh karena pelayanan penyembuhannya yang memperlihatkan pekerjaan-pekerjaan Roh Kudus.. Itu semua karena sekarang ini gereja-gereja di Korea telah kehilangan kuasa Roh Kudus. Banyak gereja yang tidak lagi merupakan gereja yang hidup karena mereka menyalahgunakan kuasa Roh Kudus dan menganggapnya sebagai kuasa mistik. Roh Kudus bukanlah sesuatu yang bersifat 'mistik.' Roh Kudus adalah nyata dan aktual. Saya dengan mantap mengatakan bahwa Pdt. Jaerock Lee adalah salah satu dari pelayan yang paling benar di Korea. Banyak yang sependapat bahwa sejumlah besar orang menjadi semakin dalam mencintai Tuhan Yesus, dan iman mereka dikuatkan melalui autobiografi ini "Hidupku, Imanku." Banyak pendeta yang juga semakin mampu mengerti apa sesungguhnya gereja yang benar dan dalam gereja yang bagaimana Roh Kudus akan bekerja. Selain itu, saya juga ingin menambahkan bahwa kebenaran dan kisah nyata tentang insiden penyiaran MBC juga diungkapkan di sini. Buku ini dengan jelas menceritakan kepada kita mengapa Pdt. Jaerock Lee harus melewati sekian banyak tuntutan dari gereja-gereja di Korea. Sekarang gereja-gereja Korea tersebut harus menghentikan kritikan dan tuntutan mereka terhadap dia. Lebih jauh lagi, saya meminta bahwa MBC mengajukan permohonan maaf kepada Gereja Manmin Pusat. Inilah harapan saya yang amat tulus setelah saya membaca autobiografi Pdt. Jaerock Lee; saya hanya berharap bahwa semua pendeta dan orang percaya akan membaca buku ini dan semoga buku ini membuka mata mereka kepada Roh Kudus. Pdt. Jongman Lee
