Biblical Greek Book 2 is the second workbook in the Biblical Greek series. This workbook teaches about Greek nouns (singular and plural forms) and the five cases (nominative, genitive, dative, accusative and vocative), as well as the Greek article in all its forms. Book 2 expands upon the reader's basic knowledge of the "Top Twenty" most frequently used Greek nouns of the New Testament (whose nominative singular forms were taught in Book 1) while adding additional vocabulary. Continuing in the same friendly, lighthearted and conversational style of teaching as Book 1, Book 2 provides easy English examples to illustrate all Greek grammar principles, which are explained in straightforward, everyday language. Handy charts, tables and lists are provided, as are tear-out flashcards and a glossary of all vocabulary. Enlarged graphics help the reader learn to recognize stem letters and case endings. Jokes, cartoons, puzzles and funny riddles keep the text light. Actual New Testament scripture is used in the examples and exercises, for which complete answer keys are included. The book maintains an emphasis on glorifying Jesus as Messiah and Lord throughout, with the primary goal of bringing refreshment to the reader through the application of God's Word by the power of the Holy Spirit during the entire learning process. Suitable for individual (self-taught) or group (classroom) study. Ages "high school" and up. Prerequisites: Completion of Biblical Greek Book 1 and/or or a solid working knowledge of how to read, write and pronounce the letters of the Greek alphabet.

The Hebrew word "shalom" doesn't just mean "peace." At its core, "shalom" means "wholeness." That's why it's translated throughout the Bible with words like health, welfare, peace, safety, prosperity, calm, success, well-being, close friendship, completeness, and more. This word-study workbook takes the reader step-by-step through the key scriptures which portray this powerful Hebrew word in its wide variety of meanings. For each scripture, the original Hebrew phrase containing the word "shalom" is shown, followed by the verse's full context in English. Various Bible translations of each verse are included for convenient cross-translation comparison. This book also teaches the reader how to easily find and recognize the Hebrew root letters of "shalom" in each verse, even if the reader has never seen Hebrew letters before. The last lesson of the book concludes with a brief New Testament word study on a Biblical Greek word for "peace" - "eirene" - demonstrating how the Hebraic concept of "shalom" continues to be expressed throughout the New Testament.

"Let Us Therefore Come Boldly" traces all the places in the New Testament in which the Greek word "parresia" (boldness, confidence) is used. Each occurrence of the Greek word is explored in an English-friendly manner, under the assumption that the reader has had no prior experience with Greek. Every scripture which contains the word "parresia" is presented in its own section, with each section containing a Word Study Table displaying the Strong's number, Greek spelling, transliteration, translation and grammatical parts of speech for each word in the scripture. Following the Word Study Table for each scripture, the author provides commentary which brings out the rich layers of meaning behind the Greek word "parresia" within the full context of the passage. The book's user-friendly format makes it ideal for both individual study and group Bible study. As the reader explores each occurrence of "parresia" throughout the entire New Testament, one layer of meaning builds upon another to provide a complete picture of the many nuances of "parresia"... from boldness, to openness, to plainness or exactness of speech, to freedom or liberty in speech, to presenting oneself publicly rather than being concealed. This book provides any reader the opportunity to carry out a thorough Greek word study such as those commonly performed by Greek scholars or highly educated pastors, teachers and theology students -- without having to first master the Greek language. Throughout the book, the reader is encouraged to make personal application of the truths of these scriptures, specifically in submitting his or her will to the power of the Holy Spirit, thereby finding the supernatural confidence and boldness required to carry out God's perfect will. Simultaneously, the reader is encouraged to put aside false or excessive confidence in his or her own human abilities, and to boldly approach God to ask for His help in all situations.
