"It's like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo," says Samwise Gamgee. "Folk in those stories had lots of chances of turning back, only they didn't. They kept going, because they were holding on to something. That there is some good in this world, and it's worth fighting for."Many have likened the past few years to a dystopian novel or a thriller movie due to unprecedented oppression, violence, loss of rights, and weaponization of science and technology at the hands of powerful people with dark intentions. It's coming into ever-clearer focus that the unified, global pandemic response -- the forced lockdowns, vaccine and mask mandates, fear-filled media coverage, and restrictions on public worship -- stripped citizens of their civil liberties and transformed our society.Leaving no stone unturned, award-winning film producer and human rights activist Jason Jones incisively lays out a full-scale campaign against this "Great Reset" to help equip you with the armor to protect and defend yourself, your loved ones, and all those vulnerable to the antihuman designs of global elites who have demonstrated a propensity for trampling basic human rights to achieve their one-world vision. Jones exposes the stealth tactics of the Great Reset leaders and reveals what they really mean by their "build back better" and "you'll own nothing and like it" slogans. Reflecting on historical precedents dating back to biblical times, Jones sounds a red alert and offers a plan for pushing back against the political, Church, and corporate apostasy still unfolding around us.The incessant fear-mongering and propagandizing by the radical reformers, Jones explains, is undermining the health of the nation and robbing young people of their ability to reason and experience authentic love. But we can reverse course, he argues, and the time to do so is now.In this prescient work, you will find examples of people -- past and present -- who heroically model ways to overcome the mightiest walls of resistance. You will learn: The five "ideologies of evil" that constitute a genuine pandemic (You will be shocked )Three forgotten aspects of piety that need restorationHow Victimism is used to gain wealth, power and totalitarian control of the entire planetThe secret to living the gospel and avoiding cooperating with evilPractical ways to strengthen families and communities through subsidiarityWhy the right to private property is essential to preserving human dignityThrough the lens of the Gospels and classical thinking, Jones challenges readers to reclaim reverence for life and prescribes the "emergency medicine" we need to apply to revive and renew our Church, our nation, and our world.
It's the night before Christmas Eve, and our protagonist embarks on his usual journey to work as a bouncer (door supervisor) in his beloved old Land Rover. However, something is not right as the usual mayhem of working the doors becomes even worse when a sudden outbreak of a new strain of COVID turns party-goers into flesh-eating zombies. This tale pays homage to the gritty reality faced by doormen night after night. It epitomises the qualities that make a great doorman: strength, resilience, and a sense of unwavering duty. If you have ever worked the doors, you will be immersed in a captivating and eerily familiar story. The pages come to life with experiences that can only be understood by those who have been there, holding the line and guarding the door.Something about the main character feels so real. He's a doorman with a rare combination of charisma and unyielding authority that commands respect from patrons and peers. As you read about these guardians of the night facing off against the undead, you can't help but chuckle. It's both comical and strangely reflective of the challenges bouncers face every weekend. In some ways, interactions with unruly patrons in real life often make it seem like they're dealing with zombies, too.As you embark on this journey through the pages of "Bouncers versus Zombies," remember that even amidst the chaos, camaraderie, and the undead, the world of the bouncer is a unique one.
A collection of comic strips from 2000 to 2021. First there was Atomic Grove, then The Dunlop Chronicles, followed by Pork n' Beansie, and finally Swamp Donkeys... comic strips couldn't possibly get any worse

This message is one of revelation, not one of judgmental demands. It is one that has been lost on the hearts of God's church. Not in the sense of the "Christian Church" but in the broader sense of "God's Church". God's Church is the entire created world around us, every corner dark or lit. Everyone saved or unsaved, Jew or Gentile. This message of revelation is meant to be a benefit to all people seeking to be prosperous in their life, in love or fellowship. This is Christ's message of example to His brother and sisters.
The American Rhetorical Construction of the Iranian Nuclear Threat
Jason Jones
Continuum Publishing Corporation
2011
nidottu
This book analyzes the rhetorical construction of the Iranian nuclear threat during the Bush presidency, and US/Iran relations more generally. From 2002 to 2008, the Bush administration argued that Iran was developing nuclear weapons, despite years of inconclusive International Atomic Energy Agency inspection reports. In the absence of substantive evidence, much of the debate was conducted via public forums with a heavy persuasive element to the discourse. This book offers an in-depth consideration of the rhetoric surrounding Iran's controversial nuclear programme. It takes an interdisciplinary approach, examining speeches, interviews, news reports, online message boards and newspaper layouts during the Bush Presidency (2000-2008). Engaging with visual grammar and narrative, the book looks at layouts from the "Associated Press", "The New York Times", and, "The Washington Post", amongst others. The book points out, using rhetorical theory and discourse analysis, the conditions that lent credibility to the Bush administration's position by examining the arguments Bush and his political surrogates put forward, and the discourse strategies that influenced which ideas gained salience and which were downplayed. Political communication and Foucault's theory of governmentality are brought in to articulate the implications regarding the influence, importance and expansion of executive power.
