This approach is more time consuming but the esthetic and functional results are better with this technique.The disfigurement resulting from the loss of eye can cause significant psychological as well as social consequences. With the advancement in Ophthalmic surgery and ocular prosthesis, patients can be rehabilitated very effectively.
