"Ingleside on the Bay," is a fiction book, fact based on the author's childhood. It should be the first book read in the series "Padre Island Kids." It will give you a better understanding of "The Treasure Hunters" when you read it. Names of the characters have been changed to protect the innocent. This book is a celebration of Lonnie, Bill, David, Dale and Rhonda.

Book 7, Igor Takes Revenge, is the last book of series one of Merchants Without Borders. Igor tells of his rescue at Nikolskoye, Russia. He flies a mission to Magadan to take revenge on the Russian mafia. Tina is kidnapped by the U.S. west coast mafia. Matt takes total revenge on the west coat mafia of the United States. Bill and Billie blow the roof off of businesses.

The Treasure Hunters, is the first book in the series, Padre Island Kids. It deals strictly with finding treasure on or near Padre Island. Some of it is fact based fiction. This book is suitable for children. It has no sexual content and there are no curse words. It is a great, clean, teenager book, only fifty-seven pages long. It can be used as a children's book as well with adult "read to" assistance.

In book 5, Matt struggles with the Russian mafia confronting him at every turn of the corner. Bill helps him understand why with his ability to translate the Russian language into English. Tina helps grow her airline industry. Stefan delivers profound advice as he seeks Matt's and Bill's help to get out of Russia. The Big Diamond is the key to Matt's and Stefan's relationship and future. Right now it will provide the funds necessary to rescue Stefan and his family.

In the second book of the series, Matt faces many moral, legal, and scrupulous decisions. He wants to help Stefan Syn Vostoka protect his fisheries and his empire. The political wars of Russia, Ukraine, and the world are closing in on him and Stefan. They finally are separated by more than the waters between their countries. The political embargos and policy changes ultimately thwart their overall goals. To engage in manufacturing and distribution of weapons is controlled heavily by both countries. Matt has found a way to manufacture legally but he cannot distribute to many countries, especially Russia.

Judy Pursing betrays Matt and walks out of his business. She then joins the Russian Mafia along with Natalya Rudakolva. Eva ends up missing shortly afterwards. Eva is found in Ketchikan. Matt is broken hearted, forsaken and left struggling to protect his business.

A common Russian man, Stefan, rises to power, but must defend his business from the Western Russian Mafia. He finds himself enlisting Americans from the United States who fly the same kind of plane as his, a Kodiak 100. He has them bring a shipment of enhancer that cuts the normal 7-year growth to maturity of his Sturgeon Fish. The enhancer induces the birth of the fish eggs from the Sturgeon fish for his caviar business. The fisheries on the West Coast of Russia want to stop him. He enlists Bill, Scott, Eva, and Matt to help his family's cause. Romance, Espionage, and Mystery surrounds the story.
