We are spirit, soul, and body. What happens in one area can have an outcome that will affect your child's behavior and their belief system. The bible says that as a man thinks so is he. What your child is thinking and believing is very important. What you are thinking and believing is equally as important. You may find during your reading that you too have some unresolved issues. Be open to praying for yourself in much the same way as we have encouraged you to pray for your children. You have a responsibility to yourself to keep watch over your and their being, your and their entire being Parents, you are the most significant influencers in your children's lives. You have an opportunity to invest into the kingdom of God by stewarding your children well. This book has tools that will teach you how to pray for your children, which you can use along your journey. But tools are no good left on the shelf. What is necessary is for you to put them into action. In everything you do, do it all in the way of love.

Giving is a response to God's heart within us. Many of us have struggled to freely give to the work of His kingdom because we don't understand His character and His love for us. His love is all encompassing and His desire is for us to be like Him.Each chapter of the book stands alone, which is ideal for those who like to jump around within a book. Most of them start with a vignette that hopefully will express feelings and queries you may have regarding giving. There is much more understanding of faith within the pages of the book than simply how to give money to a cause. It truly is about the Father's heart for His children and their extension of His kingdom here on earth.

Jesus, speaking of Himself, said in John 14:11: "Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the miracles themselves." Jesus did not come with words only. He preached repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand and then demonstrated it. His works were the validation of His words. The book of Mark focuses on Jesus as a man of action. The phrase "at once" or the word "immediately" is used more than thirty times in this book to describe events. It is a book with the stress on action and facts rather than themes or topics. Both Matthew and Luke use far more verses to describe the same events as Mark. For example Luke uses 23 verses to describe John the Baptist's ministry to Mark's 10. If you are an action person, one who wants to do rather than talk, this is the book for you.
