Little Grey is 28 pages long. It consists of a series of illustrations drawn by the author and features a cartoon squirrel as the main character. Little Grey is based on the Eastern Grey squirrel, a native of the East Coast of the USA. Text in the form of instructions and questions accompany each illustration. The reader is asked to find Little Grey amidst a crowd of other animals, to count how many animals there are in a picture or both. The instruction to find Little Grey is based on the Where's Waldo (TM) series. Little Grey, an activity book, is a children's book and is probably appropriate for boys and girls between the ages of three and eight. Usually by the time a child has reached eight years, he or she has learned to count and this book may offer an entertaining way to practice. Looking for the character may also prove appropriately challenging.
