Women represent almost half of the world's population. Women status is lower than men almost in all nations of the world. India is a multifaceted society where certain broad circumstances in which Indian women live affect the way they participate in the economic activities. They are generally confined to home with restricted mobility. Throughout the history women have generally been restricted to the role of a house wives. In spite of major changes that have occurred in the status of women in India. In recent decades, rules that restrict women to the home are still powerful in India. Reform movements in the 19th and 20th centuries led by great social reformers provided boost to women's legal status in India. There are distinct stages of rise and fall in the status of women in India. They are women in ancient period, Medieval Period, Mughal Empire, Under British Rule and Women in Independent India etc. In addition to this legal status of women in India, their empowerment, economic role and the role of women entrepreneurs in socio economic development of India are also focused in this book.
Customer Relationship Management (CRM) enables an organization to better manage relationships with customers, distributors and dealers among others. CRM is a process to compile information that increases understanding of how to manage an organizations relationship with its customers. It can be considered as a process of storing and analyzing the vast amounts of data produced by sales calls, customer service centers, and actual purchase etc. Clearly CRM products must be selected based on the company's need to provide greater value to its customer base. The CRM has been expanded to include all partners that the company interacts with and is called Partner Relationship Management (PRM). CRM start-up teams should consist of IT as well as business unit managers. In the present study, an attempt has been made to establish relationships between endogenous variables and exogenous variables related with functions of CRM.

According to Dictionary of Education, Self-concept means how people see himself (e.g. Competent, Amusing, Homely etc.). This may differ from other people's views of him though it will have been influenced by them. self-concept means refers to the picture, or image a person has of himself. self-concept scale refers to test or measure of self-concept in the individual. According to Dictionary of Psychology, Self-Concept means the self-concept has three main component, the self-image or impression we hold of ourselves, which is constructed largely from how we think we see ourselves reflected back from others, the ideal self, which is our image of how we could or should be, and self-esteem, which has its origin in the feelings we have about the self we believe ourselves to be further reading.
