Dr. Dusty, a lover of animals like few of us has ever met, moves from Georgia to New Mexico because of the beauty of the state. Instead of realizing her desire to become a spiritual potter, Dusty spends her own money and her next 38 years rescuing and rehoming thousands of animals from the dumps and village streets. She forms her own rescue organization, which sponsors educational and spay and neuter sessions in previously uncharted territory.
