A library is more than just a brick building with windows and books. It is a meeting place for lost souls to quench their thirst for knowledge through the written word. A refuge for those who seek sanctuary from a cruel world. A timeless space where for only a moment peace can be achieved. I am somebody who walks these stacks and pages through books like they are precious pieces of a puzzle. A puzzle that has no end nor beginning. So many stories, come walking through the front door. My name is Penelope Parrish and I am part of this library. Not always the good part but I do understand why people enter our doors. Love me or hate me, my patrons and friends refer to me as "The Great Librarian".
