Detective Richard Wallace is confined inside a police surveillance van watching a public payphone with fellow officer, Detective Brogan Keller. They are waiting for an unidentified suspect to arrange a drug drop-off. However, this is no ordinary all-night stakeout. The two cops, no longer best friends, haven't work together in over five years making the strain between them impossible to ignore. Beyond their tension, the two are highly entertained by the phone calls they observe from the tapped payphone. Some of the calls are domestic and boring, while others are filled with sin and deceit. To their surprise, a number of the visitors to the booth are familiar faces to the two officers. Is one of them the drug dealer setting up the drug drop-off? Or is it one of the peculiar individuals that used the cover of darkest to visit the payphone to make their secretive calls?
