"Lilly" is an emotional story of betrayal, and re-occurring pain that one girl experiences from early childhood until her adolescence. Beginning in the early 1990's, the main character Lilly Jacobs and her paternal twin brother Kevin encounter problem after problem in their young lives from age seven, on. They are faced with being in the middle of their mothers' affair, witnessing their father commit suicide, and then a sexually abusive stepfather in such a short period of time that it leaves the children haunted for the rest of their lives. As soon as it seems as though things may look up for Lilly, her demons from the past return and create a breaking point in her spirit. A heart can only take so much pain, and the story of Lilly Jacobs displays this in agonizing detail.
