Lisa Zaran

An original collection of poetry by American poet, Lisa Zaran. First published in 2004. Described as "a true gift" and "a place of enraged and submissive dichotomy". Zaran's work is brutally honest, allowing an infinite access to the core of her existence.

Dear Bob Dylan is a collection of letters as a way for the author to express herself in a literary sense, as a scene where she could place her thoughts. By focusing on an enigma, Zaran was able to compose these thoughts in the most rudimentary sense, letter writing. Rather than begin a journal Zaran chose instead to write Bob Dylan letters.
