The British Empire Is Finished by Rachel Brown March 18-Though it may seem to some credulous readers of the New York Times that Great Britain is in a position of moral authority and power in its recent accusations against Russia, the opposite is the truth. In reality, the British Empire is in a last-ditch effort to try to save its crumbling system. Teresa May's ridiculous cries are indications of the desperation of London, and reminiscent of the threats often heard emerging from dying empires. The fact that the Skripal poisoning occurred only three days after President Putin's historically momentous speech should not be overlooked. Putin announced a new series of advanced weapons that render the Obama encirclement of Russia impotent. The fragility of the case is indicative of its political necessity. Not only is there no content to the allegations of Russia's role in the Skripal attack-no samples having been provided as required under the OPCW protocols-the facts of the case point again to the circles of Christopher Steele, the British MI6 agent and author of the now discredited "Golden Shower" dossier, which was at the center of claims of Trump campaign ties to Russia. Sergei Skripal, a colonel in Russian military intelligence, was recruited to work for British intelligence by MI6 agent Pablo Miller while Steele was an undercover MI6 agent stationed in Moscow. After being caught and sentenced to 18 years in prison for treason, Skripal was let out as part of a prisoner exchange and moved to the UK. He again befriended Pablo Miller while Miller worked for Orbis, Christopher Steele's company, during the period the Steele dossier was being written. Now the Russiagate case against President Trump is falling apart in the United States. The House Intelligence Committee concluded there was no Russian collusion, and FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe was fired. Christopher Steele has been referred to the U.S. Justice Department for criminal prosecution, and is defending himself from lawsuits in the UK and U.S.A. At a recent hearing in London, none other than representatives of the British Foreign Office showed up to demonstrate the concern of the British government for this allegedly "private" citizen. Meanwhile, the potential of a Korean peace agreement is a very real prospect, while more and more countries are joining China's New Silk Road. Eleven European Union nations have signed cooperation documents with the Chinese government, and 13,673 trips were made by China-Europe express freight trains in 2017, more than in the previous six years combined. Greece's Port of Piraeus has again become one of the largest in Europe, helping that financially distressed country to improve its economic condition. French President Emmanuel Macron declared during a recent visit to China that France is joining the New Silk Road, while South American and Caribbean nations are openly expressing their intent to join as well. The London-directed trans-Atlantic establishment is beyond desperate. This is why we are seeing the British themselves-in the person of Prime Minister May-taking the point on this. This public exposure of their own guiding hand is not something the Brits like. They are flailing, and attempting to throw monkey wrenches everywhere: in Syria, with North Korea, in the Ukraine, and other conflicts they have generated-anything to keep their grasp on world power just a little bit longer. The time could not be more urgent to act on the truth-the British empire is finished, and the United States must eliminate the British-run coup and join the New Silk Road paradigm for a lasting peace.
July 14-What is mankind's answer to the problems which threaten the planet at this time? It is self-evident that that question should be the pole-star for the mind of every man and woman, but only a very, very few can even entertain it today. The reason is obvious. Stupidity rules as an iron law over every association in the United States and Western Europe, -except for an occasional one or perhaps two, whose members can be counted on one hand. And the other, equivalent name for stupidity is indifferentism. In the United States, the tyranny is most absolute in the southern states of what is often called the "former" Confederacy, but which is a Confederacy still very much alive, as recent events have underlined. Indifference to the rights of humanity is intrinsically illegal. No policy may exist which lacks good grounds for existence in those terms. We must cancel Wall Street as having no humanly moral reason to exist: other than money
Oct. 26-The big question which should concern all thinking human beings on this planet, is essentially the same as that which was hotly debated in the young American republic as reported in the Federalist Papers, "Is human society capable of an efficient form of selfgovernment?" Only this time it is not a question for just one nation; it concerns all of humanity and the need for a new paradigm in the world order. Tensions in a world plagued by multiple crises seem to be increasing towards a breaking point: the danger of a new-this time systemic-financial crash of the transatlantic financial system, an unprecedented polarization inside the United States around the ongoing coup attempt against the President of the United States, false-flag operations, Goebbelslike deception operations against entire populations, drug epidemics which are a new form of Opium Wars, the global migration crisis, terrorism and Nazism, an increase of centrifugal forces in the European Union, the re-emergence of aggressive, geopolitically motivated efforts to defend an order that no longer exists-just to list some of the challenges. The world is in disorder. In light of such a complex and seemingly completely disunited world, how realistic then is the perspective laid out at the 19th National Congress of the CPC by Chinese President Xi Jinping, where he defined the goal for China to become a "strong, democratic, culturally advanced, harmonious, and beautiful," fully modernized country by the year 2050, and even spoke at some point of the building of a "beautiful world" for all nations to participate in? If one looks at the crises and challenges listed above as unrelated individual problems, one ends up in a "bad infinity," where the solution to many of them seems impossible. But if one recognizes that all of these problems have common threads, in that they are the derivatives of the old paradigm of an epoch going under, one can find the solution by being informed by the principles of the new epoch. There are two "game-changing" topics, which in the near future, create totally opposite pathways for mankind. The first one concerns the monumental battle being fought out now in the United States. The coup attempt against President Trump may be successful and he is driven out of office one way or the other. Or, if the collusion of the heads of intelligence agencies of the Obama administration with the British intelligence services (GCHQ and MI6) in orchestrating "Russiagate" against Trump-to prevent him from realizing his intention to put the relationship between the United States and Russia on a good basis-will lead to the criminal prosecution of the perpetrators. Were the Democrats to win the House of Representatives in the midterm elections, they will try to bury the ongoing investigations in the Congress, and the confrontationist policies we have seen in the sanctions against Russia, the trade war against China, and the recent speech by Vice President Pence, will be escalated instantly. If Trump can consolidate his position, despite the many hawkish tones coming from the United States now, there does exist the potential that he will be able, in the second half of his first term, to improve relations with Russia and return to his initial positive attitude towards China. The second, related game-changing issue is whether we fall into the "Thucydides Trap" or escape it. Let us look at a perspective to overcome the Thucydides Trap, the apparent conflict between the power dominating the world up to now, the United States, and the rising power, China, by defining a solution which goes way beyond the bilateral situation of the two, and which addresses the existential dangers for all nations, thus shifting the level of discussion and thinking to a higher plateau.
Sept. 6-If you have been following the ongoing coup against the President, you know by now that its "events" are not things in themselves; they are part of a constructed narrative, a British information warfare effort whose objective is to drive this President from office. So it is with the most recent series of "events" the conviction of Paul Manafort and the guilty plea of Michael Cohen, John McCain's absurd and orchestrated funeral, Bob Woodward's outrageous new round of political pornography aimed at the President, and now, the anonymous op-ed from a "senior official" in the Trump Administration, published on the Sept. 5 Opinion page of the New York Times. The gutless author of the New York Times op-ed claims to be a member of the "resistance" inside the Administration and doubles down on Woodward's ludicrous fake portrait of the President as an unhinged child from whom the nation must be protected. The Times says it is protecting the identity of this creep to save his or her job, to wit, to ensure that he or she can continue outright sedition against the President of the United States. The op-ed lauds John McCain and explicitly references the President's alleged rage at being boxed into Sergei Skripal poisoning hoax in Great Britain. As Glenn Greenwald appropriately commented, "The irony in the op-ed from the New York Times's anonymous White House coward is glaring and massive: s/he accuses Trump of being 'anti-democratic' while boasting of membership in an unelected cabal that covertly imposes their own ideology with zero democratic accountability, mandate or transparency." At the same time, the British have undertaken new strategic provocations against Russia, both carrying the label "poison." Charges were announced Sept. 5 by Theresa May against two "Russians" for the Skripal poisoning. A new false flag chemical attack in Syria, which is to be blamed on Bashar al Assad and Vladimir Putin, has also been in the works for several days. Undoubtedly the Brits will now escalate, calling for new military actions against Russia and threatening the world with a new war. Senator Chuck Schumer gave the game away over the weekend when he said that impeachment must come now, "sooner rather than later." To accomplish this, a whole series of events has been planned between now and the U.S. midterm elections. At the very least, they aim to depress and suppress the turnout of pro-Trump voters and jack up the increasingly Jacobin base of the Democratic Party. God only knows what will launch from this crowd if the now imminent financial collapse occurs, in Schumer's words, "sooner rather than later."
Sept. 21-The order by President Donald Trump, on Sept. 17, to declassify documents related to the investigation of alleged Russian interference in the 2016 election campaign and Trump's "collusion" with Russia, is a bombshell escalation-significant and necessary- against the ongoing coup being run to destroy his presidency. When combined with the revelations in an interview that Fox News' Martha MacCallum did with George Papadopoulos the following day, we see evidence now being brought into the open which confirms what La- Rouche PAC has charged from the beginning: That the charges against Russia and Trump are a fraud, a product of collusion between the Obama/Clinton intelligence team and the highest levels of British intelligence, in a desperate defense of the collapsing post-Cold War geopolitical order. But, no sooner had the President finally acted to declassify foundational documents in the coup against him, than the British, and to a lesser extent the Australians began to shriek. According to the President, "some of our best allies" had problems with his order, for the reason that the coup was instigated because the British demanded Donald Trump's head, as far back as 2015, as this news service has documented. It was the British, not the Russians, who intervened into the 2016 U.S. elections and now they are panicked at being exposed, not only for their role in the election but for why they did it. As of now, the President has sent the documents to Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz for review, while making clear that the documents will come out. He said that expedition was the key test for him and others in getting these documents to the American public. There is also a sitting grand jury in Washington, D.C. hearing evidence against former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe and possibly others, concerning leaks to the media, false statements to those investigating leaks, and release of classified information. These documents will show conclusively that those behind the coup attempt are "war mongers," as Helga Zepp-LaRouche described them in her Sept. 20 webcast, the same people "who are pushing for complete confrontation with Russia and China." For the sake of avoiding a downward spiral to possible nuclear confrontation between the U.S. and Russia, the full story must be presented, and the real criminals of the British imperial order, sometimes misleadingly called the "Deep State," must be brought to trial.
September 1, 2018 I want to tell you a forgotten story, the story of the fight of Franklin Roosevelt against imperialism. Imperialism by the British, imperialism by the Dutch, and imperialism by the French. FDR's vision of the peace after World War II-a peace sabotaged by the British and by their agent, Harry S Truman, who after FDR's death became President of the United States. This is an urgent topic, because the solution to the problems we're facing in the world today requires a New Bretton Woods, which Lyndon LaRouche has proposed. LaRouche's proposal is very much in line with the original conception of Bretton Woods as outlined by Franklin Roosevelt and his aide, Harry Dexter White. Throughout the decades, particularly after Nixon abandoned the Bretton Woods system on August 15, 1971, LaRouche has fought for a New Bretton Woods system. Nixon took the dollar off the gold reserve standard and introduced a floating exchange rate system-as a sharp break with FDR's Bretton Woods system. After that occurred, there was a further devolution in the world economy over the succeeding decades, and in particular in the United States' economy. That fateful decision on the part of Nixon in 1971 led to an increase in free trade policies globally, an increase in globalization in which industry took advantage of "cheap labor" in Third World nations, exploiting that "cheap labor" instead of carrying out a policy of improving the living standards of workers in the advanced sector nations, and developing the skills and living standards of individuals in the developing sector. This was the period in which the idea of a post-industrial society was introduced. Shortly after Nixon made that fateful decision, in comes the Presidency of Jimmy Carter, a project of David Rockefeller's Trilateral Commission. A key aspect of the Trilateral Commission policy was the idea of controlled disintegration of the world's productive economy. LaRouche has long fought for a restoration of the principles of the Bretton Woods system from his more advanced scientific and economic standpoint. During his Presidential campaign in 1988, he keynoted a conference in January in Andover, Massachusetts, just before the February New Hampshire primary. LaRouche's campaign that year was called the LaRouche Campaign for a New Bretton Woods-that was what he was fighting for. There was a further emphasis upon this concept, in a speech he delivered in Washington, D.C. in 1998, and then an increased emphasis in 2008. From June 2008 through November 2008, LaRouche delivered a number of speeches and wrote many articles on the necessity for a New Bretton Woods. In 1988, you still had the Soviet Union and the Warsaw Pact. There were also sovereign nation-states in western Europe. LaRouche proposed in 1988 that the initiating nations for the New Bretton Woods system should be the United States, Japan, and the Western European nations. However, after the collapse of the Soviet Union, things changed. Europe, for instance, lost its sovereignty with the imposition of the European Union and the Maastricht Treaty. The Soviet Union and the Warsaw Pact no longer existed, and there were further, positive developments with respect to China. By 2008, and perhaps even before that, LaRouche's conception was that there should be a New Bretton Woods system initiated by four powers-the United States, Russia, China, and India. And that these Four Powers had sufficient power to overrule the imperialist policies centered in the City of London. Of course, 2008 was also the year of the financial crisis which hit the world. This was LaRouche's proposal to solve that crisis.
Sept. 18-Late afternoon on Monday, Sept. 17, the White House Office of the Press Secretary issued the following statement from the Press Secretary, which we include here in its entirety: STATEMENT FROM THE PRESS SECRETARY Issued on: September 17, 2018 At the request of a number of committees of Congress, and for reasons of transparency, the President has directed the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and the Department of Justice (including the FBI) to provide for the immediate declassification of the following materials: (1) pages 10-12 and 17-34 of the June 2017 application to the FISA court in the matter of Carter W. Page; (2) all FBI reports of interviews with Bruce G. Ohr prepared in connection with the Russia investigation; and (3) all FBI reports of interviews prepared in connection with all Carter Page FISA applications. In addition, President Donald J. Trump has directed the Department of Justice (including the FBI) to publicly release all text messages relating to the Russia investigation, without redaction, of James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, and Bruce Ohr. According to press accounts on Monday evening, the documents will be released "expeditiously" with the FISA application coming first, together with the FBI interview reports of Bruce Ohr and Carter Page. It is anticipated that the text messages will take a longer time to release. This dramatic action by the President occurs at the same time as a grand jury in the District of Columbia considers criminal indictments of key officials for leaks of classified information generated in the Russiagate investigation to the news media, according to widespread press reports. By all accounts, the declassification of these documents will allow the public to grasp, for the first time, a clear view of the most frightening political abuse of power in American history. The Obama Administration, acting at the behest of the British government, set out to destroy Donald Trump's candidacy on behalf of his opponent Hillary Clinton, using the full national security and law enforcement powers of the United States to do so and then to destroy his Presidency. British intelligence, through MI6's Christopher Steele, produced a political hit piece on Donald Trump, which was paid for by Hillary Clinton. Steele's dirty dossier asserted that Trump had nefarious connections to Russia and that Putin had compromised him. On four separate occasions, Obama Justice Department officials went to the top-secret FISA court, established under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act of 1978, to obtain complete surveillance of Trump campaign volunteer Carter Page, and through him on the Trump campaign itself. According to Steele's deliberately false claim, Carter Page was a central figure in the Trump/Moscow nexus. The same Justice Department officials knew, when they made the application, that Steele's dossier was false concerning Page. They never informed the court that Steele's information had been paid for by Hillary Clinton, Trump's opponent, and that it had never been verified as required by FISA procedures. Steele's dirty dossier was used by John Brennan's CIA as the pretext for entrapment operations against Trump campaign volunteers George Papadopoulos and Carter Page, conducted, for the most part, on British soil. All the while, the FBI and others were leaking endlessly to the news media that there was a serious FBI investigation of candidate Trump which implicitly involved charges amounting to treason with respect to Russia. James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, and Bruce Ohr were key players in this orchestrated information warfare and political espionage operation against Donald Trump. LaRouche PAC has repeatedly called for the President to declassify, in addition to these documents, all British-spawned documents demanding investigation of Donald Trump and his campaign associates...
Aug. 5-For many among those Americans only now confronting the reality of the philosophical fight encompassing the last 70 odd years of global history, this sudden rendezvous with history is nothing short of bewildering. The unravelling of the plot-by British MI6 intelligence, and Obama CIA chief John Brennan and other Obama loyal minions-to topple the duly elected president of the United States, has opened before the eyes of patriotic Americans a significantly broader image of the world they have in fact been living in all along. Among President Trump's loyal base of supporters, the sense of commitment to defend the President, especially on matters of brokering peace agreements, has been solidified. In many respects, thanks in large degree to the work of the LaRouche Political Movement, the fascist coup against the President has backfired. The fake newscasters were beside themselves, lamenting the cheers Trump received at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania, when he expressed pleasure at how well his meeting with President Vladimir Putin had gone. They were furious that Trump seemed to side with Putin over the FBI on questions of election meddling. They even attempted to claim that the content of the discussion between the two Presidents was being entirely withheld from the American public-further evidence of Trump's nefarious plotting with the Russian enemy. However, continued efforts to stymie future meetings between the two leaders, (much of the intention of Special Counsel Robert Mueller's witch-hunt against the President) seem to be failing. President Putin has been invited to meet with Trump in the oval office some time after the end of the year. In a recent poll, more than half of the American population is estimated to support plans for a second Trump-Putin summit. While this political support among Trump's base (fully in opposition to the fraud known as Russiagate) is in full swing against efforts to assemble an impeachment-oriented Democratic majority in the U.S. Congress, it is not yet mobilized to support dismantling of the Wall Street derivatives bubble, a ticking time-bomb just as dangerous to the functioning of the Presidency as election of the pro-impeachment Democrats. There is also not an effective comprehension yet among the pro-Trump electorate, of why strengthening the U.S. relationship with China and Russia is so vitally important to the future of the world economy. These are obvious factors inhibiting President Trump from breaking, in a more meaningful way, from the very U.S.-British "special relationship" which he has in fact broken with over the defense of U.S. manufacturing and in his rejecting further regime-change wars. Certain fissures in the ideological edifice, however, suggest the potential to break open further meaningful fights over principle: President Trump has effectively declared war on one of the biggest donors to Republican congressional candidates, the pro-drug legalization, pro-free trade, libertarian billionaire Charles Koch, who has broken profile and begun supporting Democratic Congressional candidates whose Republican opponents are too close to Trump on matters of free trade and presumably other policies. Meanwhile, this past week, Fox Business operated as a platform for individuals inside and outside the Trump Administration, pressuring Trump to move to escalate tariffs against China rather than making concessions in the name of good faith and mutual benefit. At political tables in the streets and at campaign events, the LaRouche PAC is effectively confronting the American people with their own designated role in history. Not their role in an election, not passively "supporting" or voting, nor in saying they are for this or that, but in recognizing their place in an ongoing process of history for which they are responsible.
Aug. 20-On the one side, there are those rarer moments of history when brains and guts can win the battle to uplift man and his condition far into the future. On the other side, in the decades and centuries between those rare moments, you fight anyway; you never stop. But what you win at these times, rather than immediate victories, is the preparation of the forces which will win the war of the future. The period since the Presidential election, particularly this Autumn, constitutes one of those rarer moments. EIR's founder, the great economist Lyndon LaRouche, responded to the first reports of Donald Trump's election victory in November 2016, by indicating that the rejection of Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and their forty thieves, was much more than a U.S. event. It was the world as a whole which had repudiated them-not just Americans who were so fed up with this bunch that they couldn't bear to look at them again. The larger historical context of that 2016 election result, which inspires our knowledge of real meaning of the November 2018 midterm elections, is the subject of articles by William Wertz and Lyndon LaRouche in this issue. To try to encapsulate it here, it resembles the closure of the long cycle of history which began April 12, 1945, the day of Franklin Roosevelt's untimely death. Through his policies, he had taken us out of the Great Depression. At the same time, he had launched the same New Deal policies throughout the Western Hemisphere in the form of his Good Neighbor policy. The financial side of the Good Neighbor policy was an international credit system, not a monetary system, aimed at economic development, industrialization, and raising the standard of living. It was to be run multilaterally by perfectly sovereign nation-states through a proposed Inter-American Bank. On April 12, 1945, World War II was drawing to a close. Europe and much of Asia had been destroyed, while the United States, with its wartime economic mobilization, had become the greatest productive power the world had ever seen. Around the world, regardless of nation or party, the survivors of that terrible war, almost without exception, looked to the United States and Franklin Roosevelt to lead them to a permanent peace, to reconstruction of the destroyed nations, and to freedom and economic development for the British Empire's colonies and semi-colonies of Africa, Asia and the Americas. For them, only that kind of future could possibly redeem the horrors of that war. Franklin Roosevelt's design for the postwar world credit system, which became the Bretton Woods system, modelled itself on the credit system of his Good Neighbor Policy-and the architects of the latter, especially Harry Dexter White, were then the architects of the original Bretton Woods institutions. Thus, Roosevelt proposed an international credit system-not a monetary system-which would enable yesterday's colonized peoples, now independent sovereign nations, to industrialize and develop advanced full-set economies. Fixed exchange rates, unlike the floating-exchange casino of today, would make large-scale long-term, very-low interest development loans possible, facilitating massive capital exports from the United States, and then other nations, to develop former colonies and semi-colonies. The alliance of Roosevelt's "Big Four," the United States, Russia, China, and the difficult ally Great Britain, was to be the keystone of the new world credit system, as of the new United Nations Organization. Roosevelt pushed this program through in the teeth of bitter opposition from the British Empire represented by Winston Churchill and John Maynard Keynes, and from the American anglophiles, our Tories, especially on Wall Street.
In politics, as in military science, the alternative to doom, is a sudden change in the pre-set rules, which often brings victory to the side which has the good sense to see a reality which exists outside the world as it is seen according to the generally accepted notions of existing rules. The easily recognizable name for such successes in breaking the assumed rules of the game, is called "flanking" the problem. The famous von Schlieffen documented the way in which Frederick the Great of Prussia flanked and whomped, twice in the same day, a superior, highly professional Austrian army, which latter thus suffered the misfortune of playing by a set of pre-fixed "blackboard" rules of the game, at Leuthen. In the practice of science, the discovery of a universal physical principle, is exactly such a "flanking" action against the stubborn fool who is still playing at the blackboard according to pre-set rules of mathematical physics. It is also a fundamental general principle of all successful scientific practice, that all great scientific discoveries of principle, occur as a result of the eruption of a crisis in a generally accepted, present way of thinking in terms of some fixed set of rules. My associates and I have repeatedly cited an historically interlinked pair of Classical examples, that of the way in which Kepler discovered a principle of universal gravitation, and that of the way in which Fermat created a revolution in geometry by discovering a principle of quickest time, rather than shortest distance. Any such crisis in the juxtaposition of fact and belief, takes a form which may be described mathematically, as a fatal error in the equivalent of currently generally accepted mathematical physics at the blackboard. What one's mathematics at the blackboard says should happen, not only does not happen, but any attempt to describe the contradictory reality by existing mathematical rules leads to a disaster of the type called a fundamental paradox, within the existing practice of science. The same principle applies, with full force, to generally accepted forms of that mathematics-at-the-blackboard used to describe and defend what is taught as economics in virtually every university classroom and boardroom in the U.S. today. The reason I have been consistently successful, over more than three decades, in my long-range economic forecasts, whereas all of my opponents in that field have consistently, and now catastrophically failed, is that, as the saying goes, "they were not playing with a full deck." They were playing according to sets of rules, which, while generally accepted among most influential circles, did not correspond to the real world. Sooner or later, as has now happened, the fact that my critics "were not playing with a full deck," has caught up with them. If they are intelligent and sane, they will admit their mistake; if they refuse to admit their mistake, they have no choice but to go utterly mad, as hopeless Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan has done. Whether the response is, in one case, a sane one, or, in another, not, nearly everything each has believed about economics, up to now, especially "free trade," "globalization," and "new economy," has been proven, in reality, to have been dangerously absurd. Now, therefore, how do I react to all those wellmeaning people, who advise me to win others to my point of view "without alienating them by insulting their intelligence," without pointing out to them the silliness of rules of economics and politics in which they continue to believe? How do I react to those who insist that I should address people "on their own level," and "in terms they are willing to accept"?
Aug. 22-For anyone thinking that the war against Robert Mueller is won and they can afford to not get out and organize their friends and neighbors to vote on Election Day, Tuesday, November 6th, the events of August 21, 2018, should have been a strong wakeup call, a hard kick in the rear end. Paul Manafort was convicted on eight counts of tax and bank fraud by a jury in Alexandria, Virginia. Donald Trump's long-time personal attorney, Michael Cohen, entered a guilty plea the same afternoon to a variety of tax and bank fraud counts as well as pleading to two Federal Election Campaign Act counts for payments he said he made at the direction of candidate Trump to silence two women claiming they had affairs with Donald Trump. While the press goes wild in celebration and RESIST gloats, there is only one answer to this witch hunt: Get out, Get active, campaign on the LaRouche program to secure the future, mobilize a vote which will stun them all on November 6th. As we have said, again, and again, November 6th is a definitive day for the history of our country. With Donald Trump, great things are possible. If the insane Democrats triumph, the future gets very dark indeed. The various horrors of the Bush/Obama years and worse, will rise again, in full and awful bloom. Paul Manafort committed a cardinal sin when he continued to support Victor Yanukovich in Ukraine against the 2014 British/American/neo-nazi coup which installed a corrupt puppet government in that country as part of a regime change operation aimed directly at Vladimir Putin and Russia. Ever since, he has been targeted in the way that people get targeted by their weaknesses when they cross an arrogant, imperial power. As Lyndon LaRouche once said, there are really three ways-sex, family, money-by which people are corrupted, three major vehicles for compromising otherwise decent human beings. The weaponizing of laws, the only way Robert Mueller has ever practiced, provides a fourth means-attack targets ruthlessly and selectively, let them stare at a sentence involving decades in prison. In typical Robert Mueller fashion, the Mueller indictment was overcharged; it exposed Manafort to 305 years in prison. Another indictment, involving the same conduct, but different crimes, is scheduled for trial in Washington, D.C. next month. As Federal Judge T.S. Ellis commented, this prosecution has only one purpose: to terrorize Manafort into "singing" against Trump in order to save his own skin, to engage in the desperate acts by which witnesses "compose" rather than tell the truth. The pedestrian tax fraud and bank fraud charges implicate the types of things many in the D.C. lobbyist culture, with foreign clients in such locales as Israel, the Gulf States, and Saudi Arabia, engage in every day to minimize their taxes. It is the type of crime generally either settled with fines or with low jail sentences. The difference is that Manafort had a target painted on his back from 2014 forward, and became an obsession for Mueller, who is establishing "credibility" by gathering easy scalps. The Manafort case had been under investigation and Justice Department lawyers were already active long before Robert Mueller ever became Special Counsel. Obama's Justice Department investigated Manafort's fairly notorious financial escapades and did nothing. The apparent balk was at the fact that numerous prominent Democratic Party lobbyists-including Tony Podesta, the brother of John Podesta, Hillary Clinton's campaign chairman-were involved in the same Ukrainian lobbying activities and similar schemes. With the effort to neutralize the results of the 2016 election, the case was revived, inclusive of information provided directly by Ukrainian intelligence agencies. Mueller picked up the already largely prepared case. It was the equivalent of "low hanging fruit."
Aug. 9-The U.S. midterm elections are less than 90 days away. In these 90 days, the present British coup against the President can be thoroughly and roundly defeated, and the basis for a New Bretton Woods agreement between the Presidents of the United States, Russia, China, and the government of India put into place-the remedy proposed by Lyndon LaRouche for routing the British Empire once and for all. If, however, the present Democratic Party prevails in the elections, then the Congressional effort to destroy the agents of the coup will be ended, and will be replaced by an impeachment proceeding against Donald Trump. History will be on a different world-line. Those are the stark alternatives we face, as do the populations of the four nations which could implement LaRouche's proposal. We have the unique potential to turn this battle in the right direction, but the clock is now ticking, and actual leadership, modeled on that of Lyndon LaRouche, is what we must now summon. Never before in human history have the British stood so exposed. There have been further revelations in the last days about Christopher Steele's paid role with the FBI beginning in February 2016, and his continuing relationship with Bruce Ohr and the Obama Justice Department hierarchy. It now stands fully exposed how they have aimed squarely at bringing down this President now. As Rudy Giuliani, one of the President's lawyers, said yesterday, the Mueller investigation is going to blow up, and the law enforcement focus is going to turn to those responsible for this corrupt witch-hunt. It's our job to point out that all roads lead to the conclusion that this has been a full-scale British subversion operation against the United States.
July 16-The historic summit today between Presidents Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin marks a dramatic phase-shift in history. It is the result of a long, difficult battle, led in no small part by Lyndon LaRouche over the past fifty years, to create an alignment of interests among the great nations and cultures of history as the necessary and sufficient force required to end the tyranny of the British empire once and for all. In particular, LaRouche posed that cooperation among "Four Powers"-Russia, China, India, and the United States (which represents the distillation of the best of European culture)-could replace the broken Western financial system centered in London and Wall Street, with a new paradigm, based not on monetary power and colonial wars, but on a credit system to bring peace and prosperity through mutual development for all nations. Before stepping into the private, one-on-one meeting with Putin, Trump told the press that they would be discussing many things, mentioning, in particular, that Russia and the United States were cooperating with "our mutual friend President Xi." The two Presidents met the press after a two-and-a-half-hour private discussion and a luncheon with their aides. They both confronted the "foolishness" and "danger" of allowing the relations between the two leading nuclear powers to continue to deteriorate. Putin noted that "the current tension, the tense atmosphere, essentially has no solid reason behind it. The Cold War is a thing of past. The era of acute ideological confrontation of the two countries is a thing of remote past, is a vestige of the past." He proposed re-establishing the anti-terrorism working group, and setting up three joint working groups of experts to work on solutions to the fundamental issues: (1) cyber-security, to get to the truth of the cyber warfare being used by the "Get Trump" task force under Robert Mueller to remove Trump from office and provoke war with Russia; (2) a working group of business leaders to expand cooperation, noting that over 500 leading U.S. business leaders attended the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in May; and (3) a working group of political and military experts, to look for ways to collaborate on the serious issues facing mankind around the world. Trump, in his statement, said he was determined to "continue the proud tradition of bold American diplomacy. From the earliest days of our republic, American leaders have understood that diplomacy and engagement is preferable to conflict and hostility." He said that the relationship between the two nations "has never been worse than it is now. However, that changed, as of about four hours ago," adding that "I would rather take a political risk in pursuit of peace than to risk peace in pursuit of politics."
July 3-First, let us dispense with the lying frauds that have been handed down to us by that carnival barker for the British Empire, Charles Darwin, to wit, that mankind's evolution stemmed from "natural selection" and "survival of the fittest." To simplify, the argument goes something like this: As the human species progressed, it adapted. It had an apposable thumb; it possessed a larger cranial size; it went through mutations and change in DNA make-up-all of which can be measured and analyzed mathematically. Over time, through trial and error, mankind developed (stumbled upon) new types of tools and ways of using them. Somehow, in some way, the human species progressed, as sort of a "smart monkey." Edgar Alan Poe would laugh at such an analysis. The secret to the Promethean emergence of the human species is hidden in plain sight. Every leap forward, each intervention that unlocked new potentials for upward human development, flowed from an act of Discovery, from a power that exists in the minds of human beings and is nowhere else to be found-as a self-conscious deliberate force-in the biosphere. As stated earlier, any competent investigation must begin with the axiom-shattering implication of the human species' mastery and deployment of the power of fire. This is where the essence-the being-of the human identity is to be found: the discovery of new universal principles which enhance mankind's power over nature and increase the population and productivity of the human species. None of the stunning breakthroughs accomplished by individual humans can be explained by the image of a Paleolithic brute scratching around in the dirt and learning through "sense-experience."
July 3-The timing could not have been more propitious for the June 30-July 1 Schiller Institute conference on, since it occurred as momentum is building for the consolidation of a New Paradigm, driven by the diplomatic and economic policy direction defined by China's Belt-and-Road Initiative (BRI). Monumental shifts have taken place in the last months, which are moving a growing number of nations into a new strategic geometry centered around a U.S.-Russia-China alliance, which is emerging in spite of massive resistance from British and U.S. networks acting to preserve the old, dangerous world defined by geopolitics. The goal of consolidating this new constellation of forces has been the life's work of American statesman Lyndon LaRouche, and his wife Helga Zepp-LaRouche, the founder of the Schiller Institutes, and President of the Schiller Institute in Germany, as this new geometry represents a force more powerful than that deployed by the City of London/Wall Street networks, which run the imperial forces clinging to the old, collapsing paradigm. China and Russia worked with U.S. President Trump, along with Prime Minster Abe of Japan and South Korea's President Moon, to pull together the successful June 12 summit in Singapore between Trump and North Korea's President Kim Jong-un, which demonstrated the power of this new alliance. The success of the Singapore summit helped pave the way for the summit between Trump and Russia's President Vladimir Putin, which will take place in Helsinki on July 16. In addition to the Trump-Kim summit, there were other events which make up parts of this picture, including the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) conference, which opened June 10 in Qingdao, China. The close collaboration between Putin and China's President Xi Jinping was a central feature of the deliberations there. As these events proved the promise inherent in these changes, institutions of the collapsing old paradigm showed themselves to be obstacles to this new dynamic. The Toronto G-7 summit was left in a state of stunned paralysis when Trump walked out and headed for his Singapore rendezvous with Kim, after provoking its members by demanding a return of Russia to the G-8. And the European Union was left floundering, unable to patch together any positive solution to the "immigrant" crisis or to their own economic disintegration, while many EU members are now looking toward cooperation with China and the BRI as a way out of the EU's existential crisis. These developments prompted an intervention by Mrs. LaRouche, who drafted a memo on June 17, "History Is Now Being Written in Asia: The EU Summit Must Follow the Example of Singapore." It called on EU member states to adopt the spirit of the Singapore summit, and of the organizing process which created it, to be able to overcome the ongoing failures dominating Europe. It was circulated widely, in many languages, and distributed to governments and institutions, posted on blogs. It began to shape the debate in Europe, as it offered an alternative to what Mrs. LaRouche described as barbaric proposals coming from many EU leaders.
July 21-It ought to be obvious to any thinking person that improving the U.S.-Russia relationship, the relationship between two nations that hold over 90% of the world's nuclear weapons, whose use would wipe out humanity, is a good thing. Therefore, Presidents Trump and Putin absolutely deserve credit for having paved the way, at the Helsinki Summit, for overcoming the current crisis between those two countries through dialogue and cooperation. However, given the unprecedented hysteria of the neoliberal establishment in the United States and the mainstream media on both sides of the Atlantic, in response to this summit, it also becomes clear that this power elite is willing to accept the destruction of human civilization rather than agree to cooperation with Russia. This reality urgently requires a reassessment of the strategic situation-not only, but especially in European nations such as Germany, where the population has an image of Trump shaped (for example) by reports on Trump on ARD television where 98% of the coverage is negative, and where the demonization of Putin is now part of the "group think" of the local establishment. The fact is that about half of American voters elected Trump as President, not least because he had promised in his election campaign that he would put the relationship between the United States and Russia back on a sound footing, after it had been brought to an unprecedented, historic low-point by the administrations of George W. Bush and above all Barack Obama. Trump commented on this situation by saying that it was primarily due to American foolishness, for which observation the pseudonymous Publius Tacitus provides detailed arguments at Sic Semper Tyrannis, the blog of the renowned security analyst Pat Lang. Regarding the accusation of Russian "interference" in the 2016 election, Publius Tacitus writes that the United States has a long, blood-soaked history of intervention in other countries and the overthrow of elected governments. Regarding the allegation of hacking, he pointed out that the United States, with the CIA, NSA and the Pentagon itself, has the largest and most robust computer networking and hacking capabilities in the world. So those making the accusation live in the biggest damn glass houses. One of the most interesting effects of the hysteria with which the U.S. establishment has reacted to Trump's attempt to normalize relations with Russia is that the structures of the so-called "deep state" have become transparent. When John Brennan, CIA chief during the Obama administration, accuses Trump of high treason at Helsinki, then of course the question arises as to who or what is allegedly being betrayed. The American people? The American Constitution? Since when is it high treason when the President tries to ensure the physical survival of his own people through a policy of diplomacy and dialogue? What causes this establishment and its "presstitutes" (as Paul Craig Roberts calls mainstream media representatives) to go off the rails, is that Trump's election victory has shaken the foundations of the neoliberal Anglo-American Empire. Trump promised in his election campaign that he would improve relations with Russia and end the policy of wars of intervention. With the two historic summits of Singapore and Helsinki, he has demonstrated, despite the establishment's enormous resistance, that he is keeping these promises. The editor of the blog Antiwar.com Justin Raimondi, commented under the title, "Trump's 'Treason': Challenging the Empire," that "The utter malevolence of our political class was dramatized in all its darkness by their reaction to the Helsinki summit." Ordinary Americans don't think like elite Americans, he said, who see themselves as the guardians of the international order, a role inherited from the British."Trump's foreign policy mission is to eviscerate the outmoded structures of the Cold War era, and inaugurate a new era in our relations with the rest of the
