Heinemann Active Maths is a brand new activity-led maths programme created specifically for Scottish Primary schools. It delivers activities and support to help implement the Curriculum for Excellence and delivers an active approach to maths teaching and learning.

Heinemann Active Maths' bright and lively Pupil Books have been designed to further consolidate children’s learning through independent practice. They are closely linked to the Teacher Activity Cards and each Heinemann Active Maths outcome. Each Pupil Book contains: ‘I can ’ statements to encourage self-assessment‘Rocket’ questions to extend and challenge children’s learning Teacher Activity Card references so you know which card the Pupil Book pages link to.

Heinemann Active Maths’ Talking and Listening Software: Consists of collaborative tasks designed to get children actively involved and talking mathematically Contains four levels of differentiation, for children of all abilities Is accompanied by Teacher Notes that give suggestions for getting the most out of each activity, plus ideas for related practical activities. This LargeSchoolPack is for schools with more than 100 pupils.
