Basil attempts to catch the International spy ring, espionage and robberies. Basil knows that cats must be involved he has a dislike for cats. There is also a double agent a lovely French Poodle she is an agent for the French but she is also a double agent for the Russians. A true French Connection.
And Pigs can Fly, is a funny book of sayings and stories that are in common use, but everybody answers him not believing his story and saying... and pigs can fly too. It will bring a smile to adults faces as well as children. I enjoyed writing this book as you will I am sure reading it and laughing.
Basil was a dog but he had great ideals he wanted to be like Sherlock Holmes but a detective dog. He starts off in London the mystery of the missing pies. It later issues he travels the world solving crimes. He does work for Scotland yard and he is very good at solving crimes.
Betty found a spotted cat and she asked he mother could she take it home. Her sister Jane found the same cat and also asked her mother. He mother agreed and they brought spot home. Unknown to them Spot already had a home and Chloe was upset because she had lost her spotted cat who was fickle and unfaithful enjoying being spoiled by another family.
Splash was on his own he was lonely, he was lost. He made friends with people and helped the life guards rescue people who got caught in rip tides and got a cramp swimming. He especially loved helping children. An endearing story.
Horrible Dog is a story about a birthday gift a dog of her choosing. She selected the most horrible looking striped dog and called him Horrible Dog. The dog has a complex and understands that people prefer other dogs or even a cat and he is last on the list. Little Jane loves him and Horrible Dog vows to be Jane's protector and never leave her side. A gorgeous story for young children. Large print and illustrations.
A hilarious story about inheriting a house. The family has a lot of pets and they are more important than all their possessions.When they move in their small car there is very little room so the tie it onto the roof of the car. As they travel for days to the other side of the country the number of pets seems to grow. This is an observation activity book as well as a story.
Cactus was a cowboy cat who lived in a small town in a desert. He thought he was tough and he was a bully. The other cats feared him. He tried to ride a horse and often helped with a round up of cattle. He thought he was a person. or he wished he was. Even big cowboys feared him. He once faced off a panther and won. That gave give too much confidence.
The second book in the Bammy series. Hotel for Animals. Bammy is a cute caveman . He cares for animals and has a dinosaur pet. He gets the animals to help him build the hotel. It starts off small but as more animals come to him the project gets larger and larger. A hilarious story children will love. Lovely illustrations.
