Greta Hällfors-Sipilä (1899-1974) and Sulho Sipilä (1895-1949) ranked among the boldest experimenters of Finnish modernism. The colorful couple fell in love at art school in the 1910s and thereafter became inseparable. Early in their careers they embraced avant-garde trends and experimented with radical new colours and forms. This book tells the life story of two intriguing artist personalities accompanied by a rich complement of photographs.
