A bilingual French / English story book for children aged 3-11 years. The book teaches about opposites. The story follows two owls called the 'opposite owls' who, as you might guess, always do the opposite to each other. The book is in a special 'flip it' format. The story reads in one language one way around and if you flip the book over it is the same story in the other language. It is not possible to see both languages at the same time. There is a vocabulary section in both languages in the centre pages. The book is full colour with a soft, full gloss cover and 15 full illustrations. One of a series of bilingual books by Mandie Davis.

This is a Spanish / English bilingual book for children aged 3-11 years covering basic vocabulary for colours and our world. The book follows a simple story building up vocabulary of colours. It then goes on to include the forest, river, seas, stars and the moon. The illustrations are simple and colourful. This book is part of a series of bilingual books covering different basic concepts and vocabulary aimed at children learning a second language. The Les Puces 'Flip it' format, with the two stories placed back to back in the book, means you can read the story in either language but cannot see both at the same time. This means you really get to know if you understand what you are reading without having a translation on the same page.
