Il a t professeur dans de nombreuses universit s travers le monde, notamment l'Universit de Loma Linda et l'Universit de l'Illinois Chicago. Au cours de sa vie, il a t membre de 17 soci t s professionnelles et a donn plus de 100 conf rences dans le monde entier sur l'orthodontie. En 1981, il fonde l'American Institute for Bioprogressive Education. Il a re u un prix de m rite de l'American Society of Dentistry for Children, le William Cogswell Distinguished Service Award in Oral Surgery, le prix Albert H.
