My original intent in writing "The Witch Letters" was to pose a word of caution regarding what appears to be a growing loose attitude toward the practice of witchcraft. This is a real art which opens real pathways into the mind and soul. Children have very impressionable minds which without boundaries are susceptible to the influence of beliefs and practices that can be harmful.Although I believe that my stated intent still comes through in this tale, I want to share how the power of the Holy Spirit redirected the story line. What I would have presented as a lesson or admonishment, The Lord clearly reshaped into a love story. It demonstrates the wooing of the creator for His creation, our Father's desire to seek out His children, the extreme passion of our great Lord, Jesus for relationship. So what we have here is a story about a young woman who was delving into things that were not good for her when she has a life changing encounter with her savior, Jesus. She is no longer known for the actions in which she once participated. She becomes known for who she is, His beloved child

Words of Life: With Scripture Referencing the Power of the Word

I believe that The LORD wants His people to recognize the power of His WORD as found in The Bible as well as our own words that we speak each day. His scripture tells us that we "do not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live." We have the resource of our Bible to teach us to speak words correctly. When we speak weakness, sickness, and trouble over ourselves, we give those things an open door. When we speak life, healing, wellness, and positive outcomes over ourselves, we give good things access. God's word teaches us, "For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned." God's WORD has been compared to a sword, fire, gold, a hammer, a mirror, and a lamp. Lottie's thoughts of illness began in her mind. We are told to "take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ." God's word, like a sword, slays negative thinking before it takes hold. His word is also like fire. Fire purifies. It cleans off all of the dirt and grime. It lets the beauty shine and kills the rotten and the ugly. As stated, "Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you." Psalms reads, "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." It is through study and application of His word that we find the good path. We get instruction and wisdom from the lamp of His word. It guides us through darkness and fear. It illuminates. His word is a hammer which breaks those rocks that appear to be unmovable, unshakeable, and unbearable. We can believe Him when He says, "I will take sickness away from the midst of thee." We are told that the words of God are more desired than any gold. Gold shines and represents the glory of God. Gold is the evidence that God is at work. As we are reminded, "When thou has eaten and art full, then though shalt bless the LORD thy God for the good land which he hath given thee . . . and when thy herds and thy flocks multiply, and thy silver and thy gold is multiplied, and all that thou hast is multiplied." Further, God's word is like a mirror. When we "look into it" then we will "be blessed."9 When we behold "as in a glass the glory of the Lord," then we "are changed into the same image from glory to glory." 10 Daily reading of God's word will cause us to reflect His glory into the world in which we live. There is great power in the words that God has equipped us to speak for they have come through Jesus and share His strength. Our savior, Jesus, spoke words over the sick and they were healed. He spoke words over the lame and they leaped for joy. He spoke words over the blind and they gained sight. As the scripture says, "for his word was with power." When we talk about The WORD, we are talking about Jesus. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." Jesus is The Healer. Speaking of Jesus, Isaiah says, "and with his stripes we are healed." Throughout His ministry, "great multitudes came together to hear; and to be healed by him of their infirmities." When He was preparing to leave the earth and return to Heaven, Jesus gave the commission to, "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." He told them that they would be able to "lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover." We see an example of this happening in Acts when the "Peter said unto him, Aeneas, Jesus Christ maketh thee whole: arise, and make thy bed. And he arose immediately." Not only is Jesus, The WORD which delivers healing, He is The WORD which gives eternal life. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life." From early times, God has told us to "choose life, obey His voice, for He is thy life, and the length of thy days." We are reminded in the Psalms, that "He sent His word, and healed them."

The scriptures have so much to say about seedtime and harvest. From the very beginning, God created each plant to produce a seed after its own kind. Thus, the seed would be found in the plant that produced it. The pattern was established at creation. The words of our Lord, Jesus, have a lot to say about planting, harvesting, sowing, and reaping. He told many parables intended to teach these very profound concepts. There are keys that unlock great wisdom in the words Christ spoke about seedtime and harvest and its similarity to His Kingdom.Just as Lottie and the friends studied God's word and waited upon Him to reveal the words that should be spoken, so too, I trust that young readers will reap great harvest in opening the scriptures to the truths God chooses to reveal. We could all use to be more like Ruach, the little dove, who scratches, pecks, and seeks to get inside things that are sealed in order to have better understanding of those "words that should be spoken." May your seeking be fruitful

What an amazing story the Lord has placed in the night sky for all of His children to see and understand. It never ceases to make me stop and wonder at the majesty of our God who had a plan to save the earth before He ever created it What grace was exhibited when He created the human race knowing His own son would be required to die to save them from their own freewill actions. Here, the friends explore the concept that the stars speak, telling the gospel story. We have included a brief review of the twelve constellations and the story they tell. May all of God's children hear and believe the story God has written in the stars. Enjoy as you listen to the stars speak

The missions field is critical to the spreading of The Gospel message of Jesus Christ and His Kingdom. The Apostle Paul made it quite clear that unless we send preachers into the field, the message will not be heard. Unless it is heard, we can not hope that others will believe. It is through carrying the word of God into the nations that The Kingdom of God is spread. Where needs are great, God's people can carry His great love to them in the form of food, water, shelter, and education. Others see the light of Jesus' love in the helping hands, caring hearts, and giving attitudes. From Romans, "How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things " Three things will usher in The Kingdom of Heaven. First, the love of God, creator of the universe, the great 'I AM', father of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob. Second, the rule of His Son, Jesus Christ, Savior of the world6, victorious lamb whose blood has saved mankind8. Third, the move of The Holy Spirit over the people and nations. As Christians, we pray, "thy Kingdom come, thy will be done, in earth as it is in Heaven." As you read about Lottie and Teddie and how they dedicate themselves to raising funds for the missionary field, do not fail to recognize the mission field they encounter in their own circle of influence. They are able to be used to spread love in what would appear to be small jestures of kindness such as fetching water, feeding helpless animals, and cleaning up trash. May we all be convicted by the words from Colossians, "and whatsoever ye do, do it hartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; ...for ye serve the Lord Christ."

Because the Little Flamingo coloring book has been the most asked for, it is only natural that I would compile this Halu Collection first. With the character of the Little Flamingo, Halu, being my poster child for how to praise and worship, it seemed only fitting for him to be represented with a selection from The Psalms.I have tried to make the designs challenging but not exhaustive in their complexity. I hope those who are filling in between the lines find them interesting and inspiring. I have left the back of each page blank in order that a variety of mediums could be used while not bleeding through to the front side. It is my hope that you enjoy bringing life to these illustrations. I welcome input through my web page and through the on-line sales channels. May The LORD bless you as you enjoy praising HIM through your time spent on these pages.

As we hear and study of Jesus, our minds and eyes are opened. The spiritual light inside our head and heart is turned on and we begin, with the help of the Holy Spirit, to understand God's word. The more we know about Jesus, the more we know Jesus. That enlightenment that comes enables us to "see" God's plan for our lives as well as His plans for His Kingdom here on earth. Elisha prayed that The LORD would open the eyes of his servant in 2 Kings 6:17 saying, "I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see." In the same manner, you will, as Matthew describes, "understand with their heart." Luke writes, "Blessed are the eyes which see the things that ye see."In reading this book, seeing the love in the hearts of Lottie and her pals, may you too be drawn to the Gospel message. May you have a desire to invite others to hear God's word, to be a part of bringing others into the Kingdom of God where they can learn more about Him, His Son, and His Spirit. In doing so, they will connect to God's plan for their lives and futures.

It was prophesied that Jesus would descend from the root of David, from the tribe of Judah. He was called the King of Kings, Lord of Lords long before His birth. Of His Kingship, we read that He is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, that He shall reign for ever and ever. Isaiah spoke of the throne, government, and kingdom of Jesus whom He refers to as Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Here the author has referenced scripture that supports the parallel characteristics of the lion and those of Jesus. Whereas the lion cub will grow to become the mighty leader of his kingdom, Jesus was, and is, and is to be from eternity past to the eternal future. Both the lion and Jesus have been decreed King; have a voice to be reckoned with; defeat their enemies; deliver the oppressed; are the predestined deity with a design to rule; have countless multitudes under their dominion; take delight in their kingdom; and have a face recognized as King. The Bible references the Kingship of Jesus from Genesis through the book of Revelation. We know that His throne is for ever and ever, a throne of glory, a throne that the one who sits upon is worthy of Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power.May we all, from every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people give praise and honor to the LORD Jesus Christ, our savior and redeemer. May we recognize His kingship. May we teach the generations to come of our dear King Jesus, AMEN and AMEN.

Children are sure to enjoy the story-in-a-story style of this informative lesson on Hanukkah. The tale was originally written by the author in A Hanukkah Story, an account of the revolt waged by the Maccabees against the evil King Antiochus Epiphanes. We encourage you to allow the young listeners and readers to interact, question, and make observations just as the group gathered around the green picnic table do.The events described here set the stage for the coming of Jesus Christ. Jesus, the Messiah, celebrated Hanukkah as well as the other Jewish feasts. He is The Light of the world. A light for revelation. This book includes historical and prophetic information, questions and answers for discussion, and scripture from both the King James Version of the Bible and the KJV Apocrypha. The content professes Christ as Saviour.

Jesus is The light. The Apostle John declared it. The Prophet Isaiah spoke of His coming. Jesus, himself confirmed it. He is the light which dispels darkness. He is the light that cleanses, heals, and guides. He alone is the salvation that the Priest Simeon spoke of in Luke 2:30-32. 30 For mine eyes have seen thy salvation, 31 Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people; 32 A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel. Those who have accepted Jesus as their savior carry His light wherever they go. Jesus says that His light will shine through them. He tells His children to, "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." John 3:19b assures, "that light is come into the world." Jesus says, "Abide in me, and I in you." John 15:4 It is my desire that this story encourages its readers to rejoice in the Good News that Jesus is The Light of The World. May His children celebrate His love, His goodness, His glory each day by raising their arms in worship and praise, singing halleluiah, halleluiah, praise Jesus

What an exciting time it is in the life of a Christian when they have the privilege of a lifetime spent seeking the Lord. The promises are spelled out in the scriptures. There are rewards for a nation such as having your prayers heard, sins forgiven, and the land healed. Individuals can expect to have life, righteousness rain down, get rewards, have a heart which rejoices, and not want for any good thing. Further, upon seeking God, one can expect to be hid in the day of the Lord's anger, to have His hand upon them for good, and to be delivered from fear. Finally, He assures that if we seek Him, He will be found. What great blessings these are for those who, like the hart, "panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God." (Psalm 42:1)Believers are not left without direction on how to seek the Lord. The Bible contains jewels of scripture which counsel to seek Him with all your heart, to seek him first, early, continually, and diligently. Seek to dwell in His house all the days of your life, to behold His beauty, and to connect with Him in His temple. (Psalm 27:4) Colossians 3:1 encourages one to "seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God."As you seek to familiarize yourselves with places to seek God, I encourage you to read the references included as they will help you find a better understanding of how God works through these situations. Just as He was with the peoples of old, He is with each and every one today. He is there in the deepest valleys as well as on the highest mountain tops. He is trustworthy and diligent in the wilderness and whirlwind. He is dynamic and strong as in the fire, storm, waters, and the deep. He is awesome and sovereign in His omnipresent providence through the harvest, the heavens, and the wonders. As your spirit connects to God, in His Holy Temple and His gift through the Blood of The Lamb, both which reveal their completeness in His Word, may you encounter The supreme Father, God, in all His power and majesty as the Psalmist writes in, Psalm 42:7 "Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy waterspouts: all thy waves and thy billows are gone over me." This teacher's guide is intended to be used with the Christian Children's book, Little Hart.
