Shift danced the Erratic Sun in a life or death waltz among the stars. All the while, Gillian and Dane monitored the engine's performance and the slow reduction of the ship's shields and Trink, Hatcher and Captain Dadam did their best to score hits against the modified freighters that had ambushed their departure from Corment.
