Es werden auch Bankmitarbeiter durch Verdachtsmeldepflichten, die eine eigene Verdachtsprufung voraussetzen, in die Ermittlungen bei Geldwaschefallen im Bankverkehr eingeschaltet. Das Geldwaschegesetz und das Kreditwesengesetz in der Fassung des 4. Finanzmarktfoerderungsgesetzes fuhren zugleich dazu, dass eine Art Rasterfahndung anhand der Daten von Bankkunden zur Verdachtsgewinnung durchgefuhrt wird.
